MX is not anywhere near as awesome as it was when I joined.

Maybe I'm just not a newbie anymore, and a jaded vet.

That, or when MX Tabs shut down, half of the discussion stopped for obvious reasons.

Because it's cool for vets to pick on noobs. One vet makes a comment and suddenly everyone jumps on the bandwagon, sucking their co[size=2]c[/size]k.

I prefer R&M a lot more now.

It's amazing how long some of the Vets have been here, though.

Jarviss was posting recantly. He was a mod when MX switched to VB in 2001! Shame he doesn't post much anymore...

Grr at train service.

Normally my trip to college is the 7:24 from Ewell West to Dorking, change at Epsom, then the 7:38 from Epsom to Guildford.

Anyway...the 7:24 is delayed, so I got the 7:39 (delayed 7:43) to Epsom to check up on my options.

Normally in this situation I wait for the 8:15 to Guildford, so I read a Metro.

At 8:15, the sign displayed "Delayed", and then a few minutes later, "Cancelled". The 8:47 to Guildford followed the same pattern five minutes later.

As I got on a train back to Ewell West, having given up, the 9:15 was just being delayed.

How hard is it to run a ****ing train?

Unlucky. I don't ever use trains unless I'm going into London with friends.

It used to be quite a pleasant place, but the vets got bored of it but never left, too many users arrived and the sense of community was gone, and it kinda swallowed itself
