yea, I did it because it makes no sense why mappy would always hate on one band, yet love one that has the same vocalist (he's a vocalist and appreciates vocals) and overall is a very similar fucking style. the bassist is also in both wormed and human mincer.

this all started when I started saying I liked human mincer. Mappy trolled then and still is because he had a bad day (he posted how he wasted money and time going to get books)

Wormed is good, not a Human Mincer fan. They DON'T sound that similar. HM is much less inspired.

no they're not, the riffs are way different. HM = pretty generic bdm riffs, I've heard it all before, Wormed focuses more on dissonance and heaviness, with underlying melody that comes out every so often. Wormed also has a much more jazzy feel at least on Planisphaerium due to the drummer. You simply cannot tell me that Tunnel of Ions or Uncoloured Plasma Orifices Transported sounds anything like a Human Mincer song.

I didn't say I HATE Human Mincer first of all, I said I wasn't a fan.

And yes, it is a valid reason. Wormed's riffs convey a much different feel than HM's. HM is fairly generic BDM riffs with slams. Wormed has those BDM type riffs but they are more focused on HEAVINESS and they also bring a lot of interesting dissonance into the picture (which I LOVE).

Also your logic is flawed, because I could use it to say it's unjustifiable for you to like one album by a band and dislike another by the same band.

Anyway listening to Souls to Deny by Suffocation, what do people think of that album? I seem to remember a lot of hate for it but I really dig it.

I LOVE the production on Souls, it's thick n heavy, drums sound beast. The S/T is good but the production is really sterile and too thin for suffo imo
