I would gladly chill, although chillin would be easier if you just lived in Pittsburgh because that's where i live when I'm not in school aka the summer, but you already knew that. I would dig going up there for a bit, I'm looking to travel around the great state of Pennsylvania over the summer. I know I'll be in Phily for a few days, I'll add Edinboro to that list, and I'm trying to go to bum**** nowhere Smethport PA sometime too.

SUMMER PLANZ OMG

If money / work permits, I'll be in Indiana (the state, not the place in Pennsylvania) for a few days as well with Spence.
You going to dudefest??

Mute Print 02-03-2010 05:27 PM

If I can figure out how to get there, I may also be going to Indiana for Dudefest. We'll see.

IgniteYourAvail 02-03-2010 06:15 PM
Justin, considering we affectionately refer to our apartment as 'the crack den,' you are certainly welcome. Jim, how is that new DeLillo book, i read a positive review the other day
The book is good. It's a quick read, but it merits a second read through. It's not particularly engaging, but it doesn't really aim to be. It's better than anything he's released post-Underworld in my opinion. It's only about 110 or 120 pages. There isn't really a source of conflict into the last third of the book, and beyond that it's never resolved, which leaves you kind of disoriented. I like it, nonetheless, I'm just not sure how much.

witchxrapist 02-04-2010 01:38 PM

I'm not familiar with DeLillo.

flesh 02-04-2010 02:12 PM

Has anyone read Against His-Story, Against Leviathan?

cobert 02-04-2010 03:56 PM

Bummed that Howard Zinn died.
Wake The Dead is still a hard album.
pics from Haiti: http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2010/02/haiti_three_weeks_later.html
Haiti pics are mighty interesting and then bothersome when it showed police pulling guns on people. Anything to defend a ****ing dishwasher, I guess.
The Wire is an awesome show and I wish I had the DVDs.

it wasn't even a cop, it was a private security guard protecting some busted dishwashers.

cobert 02-04-2010 04:03 PM

There are some other pictures of cops pointing guns at people. But yeah that was a private security guard, I don't know what you're pointing out though.

Iluvatar 02-04-2010 04:19 PM

the way you said it implied you were mocking a police officer doing that.

Gnarmageddon 02-04-2010 04:53 PM
