I hated the looks of them for so long, and swore to myself that I'd never own one. I admit that they are not the sexiest things on earth, and that there tone is very limited, but at the same time, if someone is looking for a variety of tones, they shouldn't be looking at a MM. But you do have to admit, there sound is super hot, and can't be immitated by any other bass. I've got my G&L, which is a tone monster, so I'm not worried about variety. I just want that sound. knowwhatimean?

New bass today. It's a J&D, but I can't find the model anywhere. I think it's a J&D2400 - I'm pretty sure that's what the guy who sold it to me said.

Anyway, it's a four stringer, active electronics, neck through, etc. etc.

Plays great. Thread with pictures soon.

ROLLO!!! Is it the one with red ash wings? (i think) and its got a 5 piece neck thru (i think?)

It's not exactly red, but yeah, sounds like the same one. It's got a five piece neck, and is neck through.

Has a really awesome tone - not too vintage, but not too modern either, somewhere in between. Plays really well - low action, really smooth.

Only thing I'm worried about is damaging the wood - but it's worth it.

What i have found really annoying though is this> [url]www.blissmusic.tk[/url] on the home page the news is really out of order to me i feel, because i hated this name they wanted 'beener' but the others really wanted it (another reason why i left) and they have made it look like i was out of order to them by asking for a different name which was 'bliss'.
