Yes. It's entirely unorthodox but fits the movie better than any other movie/soundtrack combination I've heard.

Invasive? It made so many moments in the movie much more tense. It did what a movie score was actually supposed to do.

They're not supposed to takeover though and I felt like it did at some points.

hm, that could have more to do with the way the film was edited. i mean with a lot of the sparseness of the shots, it seems like it might have been part of the director's plan to let the music do a lot of the talking

I mean it wasnt like it hugely impacted my viewing, I still loved the movie, but at some points I just kinda wish the score was toned down a bit.

I might go buy it tonight, I need to see it again.
