Would you recommend buying it?
ya defionitely cheap, 3 cds loads of songs. I'll talk about it more when i have the time bye. |
I was thinking about eventually getting that, but I wasn't too sure.
get the dvd as opposed to the cd. or try to get both. hmm. i only have the dvd and the cd has more songs but the dvd has the visual aspect and thats especially cool during th bass solo because of the camera mounted on entwistles bass. |
bass solos don't amuse me. I'm not sure why, sometimes they're pretty cool but overall...meh.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of bass myself, but there is nothing like the feeling you get when a bass line just blows you away. |
That's why I love funk. The basslines are so great.

very true, especially at a concert. |

ArrestThisMan that avatar of your's is nothing short of brutal. Brutally amusing however, but brutal nonetheless. |
Stand! = Great Funk album
My review of Stand! = Even better ;) /advertising |
Stand!
In the end, you'll still be you... I love the drumroll in the beginning and the coda at the end of that song. |
That is an amazing album. Larry Graham and Sly just own.
:) |
Well I'll never stop listening to The Who Sell Out and Tommy, but I'm listening to more of their later stuff nowadays (most regulars here can tell you that I've tried to avoid it for some time now).
I'm still working my way through Tommy, I love "School Bully", especially the part where it's played in the movie and Roger is being tortured. However, Who's Next can still do a number on me. I like how it has a really strong opener (Baba O' Riley) and ends with a equally strong number (Won't Get Fooled Again) . |
Is the Who's Tommy a good movie, I know it was a great play, but I hadn't heard about the movie.

It's a pretty crazy movie. It's like The Wall, in the way it's got no dialogue, just the entire album being played. It's pretty good. np: Rush - Fly By Night |

The guy obviously deserves it. |

most definitely. I don't even know him but i'm sure he's a jerk. |
I've actually never seen Tommy. How does it compare to the Wall? I have The Wall and I love it, although I'm a much bigger Pink Floyd fan than a Who fan.
|
I've never seen Tommy either, but if it even COMPARES to the wall, i'd say it's definitely worth viewing..

As awkward as this post may sound, does anyone have any good suggestions for classic rock sounds that would be good for a striptease? Songs that trigger images of a girl just swinging around a pole at a stripclub? Either that or a song that would make you imagine a woman struttin' her stuff as she walks around town.
Don't ask. :p So far I've got: ACDC - Back in Black Canned Heat - Let's Work Together Jimi Hendrix - Foxy Lady Led Zeppelin - Moby Dick Robert Palmer - Addicted to Love Tom Jones - She's a Lady . . .I'm actually using these tracks for an idea on a film project. Any genuine, great suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. |
Odd suggestion Phucked o_O
So basically you want a song with a sleazy guitar riff... Jimi Hendrix's cover of "Wild Thing" would work Mountain's "Mississippi Queen" too maybe Aerosmith's "Walk This Way" and/or "Sweet Emotion" Queen's "Fat-Bottomed Girls", maybe Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" (the riff would work, at least) Van Halen's cover of "You Really Got Me" |

Maybe. ;)
Any Whitesnake song is a good stripper song. Im serious, any popular Whitesnake song.
So far all I have for them for some reason is "Here I Go Again On My Own". I'll look for more. :thumb: Thank you. |
I've got actual stripper music if you want it.
|
Led Zeppelin - Black Dog. THe lyrics ,the music; It's a stripper classic. Plant hinself described as a "Let's do it in the bath type thing"
|
Very borderline classic rock, but Def Leppards "Pour Some Sugar on Me."
|
 I love the Moody Blues!
they ****in rock!!!!! |
same here. It is an awesome riff but not a solo. I believe he soloed on the Live At Leeds version of My Generation.
Not sure though, I'll check it out.
:upset: that song was one that helped inspire me to play bass. I learned it pretty recenty. The "solo" wasn't really that hard, at least, I thought it would be harder, the outro was tough, though. I still have to get the rythm right. |
