to be honest, most knowledge of tenses etc, comes from my french lessons, and it's not just that there's a gap in the curriculum but we did get a really crap teacher for 2 years, for our GCSEs.
NP: Iron Maiden - The Clairvoyant.
That's possibly part of the reason I sucked at higher level French, I don't get half these things. ND-My second last can of fanta! NP-Rammstein-Sonne |
No wonder I feel superior. :p
NP: Nile - CAST DOWN THE HERETIC
bah...key word: "feel" :p doesn't necessarily mean you are superior  but you do have mod powers, so on MX you are superior, i suppose. NP: Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall Pt. II WP: Billy Talent - Cut the Curtains.
That's possibly part of the reason I sucked at higher level French, I don't get half these things. ND-My second last can of fanta! NP-Rammstein-Sonne
how many cans have you drunk recently? are you addicted yet?!? french is a bitch, for some reason i'm still expected to get at least a B  |
Well, I have drunk 11 since thursday night, so not that much
I once drank six battles (not 2 litre ones) of Fruit twist in a day (they were on offer in the metro centre) That was a tough time... |

NP: Simon and Garfunkel - Bye Bye Love (live) EDIT: wow, i never realised until i counted them now, that i have music by 75 different artists on my computer. |
All this talk of Fanta is reminding me of my frustration that nowhere here seems to sell Irn Bru.

i'm not a fan of Irn Bru, to be honest. i drink far too much Diet Coke though (i drink 2 or 3 bottles a day). NP: Bob Marley & the Wailers - Satisfy my Soul. |
Excellent choice
i was ratching around in the garage the other day and found my mother's The Essential Simon & Garfunkel that i got her for her birthday a couple of years ago. i also found David Bowie's Greatist Hits, so i ripped them both to my laptop. i was brought up on S&G, it was pretty well the only music played in the house when i was younger. WP: Franz Ferdinand - You could have it so much better. NP: Guns N Roses - Aint it Fun. |
I have no clue who he is, to be perfectly honest. But yeah, I heart Cobain. :)
He's the lead singer for The Replacements. Think Husker Du with the occasional tender moment, plus vocals that sound similar to Cobain's but a bit more emotional. Plus he's the best lyricist I know of.
Get over it. :p
I Am Vikingcore/Eleventeen is on my ignore list for some reason, but I can choose to view individual posts for things such as counting up votes in the poll. My stance is that if I did not allow myself to type in caustic comments about singers who I don't believe should be nominated, then I would surely go crazy from the boredom of it. I intend to bring a healthy (or unhealthy) dose of opinion to the poll, but I will still remain impartial above all. |
On the subject of Rammstein, could someone please upload Mutter for me and email me the link? As you may know I'm not a great fan of owning whole albums in mp3, but I'd feel justified in this one. I bought it (and loved it) a few years ago, but made the mistake of lending it to a less than reliable acquaintance of mine. It was the red tour edition, too :(
|
i wouldn't mind that album as well, if someone's uploading it.
josh_mark_barber @ hotmail.com anyway, dinner now, mmm. later all  NP: Blaze - End Dream (live) |
I'll do it.

Yeah, there's no reason for you to not like The Replacements, especially if you like the voice thing. Fuck Conor Oberst, Paul Westerberg will always be the successor to Bob Dylan. He's got good lyrics AND a bad voice! |
I agree. Call of Duty is 100 times better than Medal of Honor. I can't wait to get my hands on the new one.
Call fo Duty is better because its more intense and realistic. In Medal of Honor, you are a one man army. It gets boring after awhile. |

I'll try to get some stuff by them. I might have even heard a song by them, now I think about it. *checks* EDIT: Yes! Med sent me 'We're coming out' a while ago, I like it, but I forgot about it because it's only on my mp3 player and not on the computer, I'll get more. |
Medal Of Honor for consoles SUCKED.
The original one for computer was excellent though, except it refused to play nice with my old *** computer half the time. Haven't played Call Of Duty yet. |
I really want to get Call of Duty 2. I love the first one.

It's not out for Mac yet 2.) When it comes out it'll probably be for the G5 and so I won't be able to play it smoothly at all. |

It helps if you play with about four people, which I rarely ever got to do. |

Agreed, especially with TS2. It's way more fun with friends. The story mode is alright, it's pretty challenging (same with Challenge mode, derrhrrhrr), but the multiplayer version is the best. If you play by yourself, it gets really boring really fast. |
TS3 is insane with mates/with my brother.

Yep. I mostly did story mode with another guy (I have TS2) and it got boring pretty fast. Actually, I prefer one player custom games to story mode. Of course, nothing beats the insanity of a four player deathfest. \m/ Jom, do you seriously dislike this Kripes guy? |
You just don't want me to own you in it like I own you in CoD I.
Heh, I've gotten much better since then. Keep in mind that when I played you I had only just gotten the patch for multiple servers and so didn't have practice. :) /lets down feeble defense and admits...yes, it's because I don't want you to own me. :fear: |
