stabbinspaghetti 08-19-2005 06:30 PM

hmm, its ok, boring i wanted to go hang out with friends tonight...but no go, hopefully tomorrow

PowerStamp 08-19-2005 07:20 PM

RE: BTK and 9/11 movies too soon.
I agree with the 9/11 movie being way too early, but the BTK one?
Dude that guy started his spree in the 70s, and didn't get caught until now.
They actually had him in the 80s too but let him go because they didn't have enough evidence or something like that.

I was born in Wichita in 86 (he was still doing his thing), and I lived down the street from the Dillards where he did a lot of his watching for victims. Scary ****.

The Fiction We Live 08-19-2005 07:26 PM

Yea the closest I've been to a criminal is my neighbor up the street... and that was just fraud

stabbinspaghetti 08-19-2005 07:32 PM

hah ive lived by drug dealers...that never got caught.....also child molesters...but those are everywhere and no one ever knows about them...but i moved where like nothing but well off old people live (got a place on the water, somewhat) so i feel really safe

against me- sink florida sink

TheClash6412 08-19-2005 07:34 PM

i was hangin out with this guy and he got busted for possesion

stabbinspaghetti 08-19-2005 07:41 PM

haha, sorry i just love it when people get busted...they are so ignorant

PowerStamp 08-19-2005 07:55 PM

work in 30 minutes, yay lol

Ooh that reminds me I gotta put Episode 2 of Robot Chicken on my PSP :D
I'm getting a 1gig card for it next week, I only have a 32MB one right now so only one episode at a time, but when I get that card this suckers getting movies, games, videos, family guy and robot chicken and red VS blue episodes, and more haha

stabbinspaghetti 08-19-2005 07:57 PM

ahh i havent really gotten into the psps, seem like you have to put alot of money into them

id rather just have a gameboy or cell phone games and an ipod

KWG 08-19-2005 08:01 PM

ipods arn't worth it

stabbinspaghetti 08-19-2005 08:03 PM

yeah they are, if you have a huge collection and you like a mix of songs....those things can hold my lifetime supply of cds

PowerStamp 08-19-2005 08:04 PM

actually, not really.
The system itself is $250 and it comes with a 32MB card, which is plenty if you're just doing game-saves.

The 1Gig card is $80, the 512MB is $40, 126 is $30 I think

the gig one is totally worth the $80, because then you can put:
Movies, TV shows, emulators/roms, music, pictures, flash movies (somebody at pspupdates.com found a way to convert flash videos into PSP format, but not games yet), homebrew (homemade games made for PSP, think flash games basicaly. Only works on firmware 1.0 and 1.5/1.51).

Also the newest upgrade in a few weeks (already out in Japan) has an internet browser, so if you have wireless internet at your house you're set.

:D

This thing is a miracle on overnights where we finish our stuff by 2, to kill some time until 3:20 when we start cooking breakfast, and then from 4 until we get an order/the openers show up.

I'll also be brining Spiderman 2 to watch, since it came with the system :D

The Fiction We Live 08-19-2005 08:09 PM

Yea PSP is awesome. I can't wait for the new browser.. the wipeout one kinda sucks, but it's great for now.

PowerStamp 08-19-2005 08:17 PM

you can upgrade to 2.0 Japanese version, but bewarned: You can't go from 2.0 Japan to 2.0 American, and the American one is fixing a few bugs, and it also voids your warranty. Not worth it IMO

Yeah, I never got Wipeout and thus not the browser, as I don't have wireless at home or very close, but I'm planning to get a wifi router here and do that.

The Fiction We Live 08-19-2005 08:21 PM

I'll just wait for the American 2.0 then. I've got the 1GB card myself. I got it for $40 used at ebgames or somewhere. I'd look for it somewhere used before you unload on a new one.

Massik Kretal 08-19-2005 08:45 PM

Hey just got home from a cyclones game. It was pretty boring. I hate baseball.

The Fiction We Live 08-19-2005 09:04 PM

I'm getting a Paiste 20" Signature Reflector Dry Ride Cymbal on Tuesday! Can't wait.

Juicy_Forlorn 08-19-2005 09:17 PM

Guys I'm scared; jimmybowels is coming on to me in the pit

I'm going to avoid the pit for a little bit now haha. So how's everyone in here doing?

The Fiction We Live 08-19-2005 09:20 PM

We're awesome. In fact, I'm going out for the night so I'll catch up with you guys later.

Massik Kretal 08-19-2005 09:26 PM

Later

Juicy_Forlorn 08-19-2005 09:37 PM

I wish I got to go out. Living on a farm with no method of transportation sucks :upset:

Massik Kretal 08-19-2005 09:40 PM

A real farm? Thats cool for a little. But gets kinda boring really soon.

Win A Rabbit 08-19-2005 09:46 PM

well i just got back from being around town. i was so close to getting tanked tonight, then i realized that im working tomorrow. it's going to be 26 celcius, and i'll be mowing rough for 9 hours. the mower is extremely loud/vibraty, and the seat is extremely loose, so i shake around the whole time. so thankfully i decided not to drink. (this was the first time ive passed up drinking in over 8 months  ) all we did was walk for 45 minutes, and then stopped to get food, walked another 15 minutes, and then they all went home. it's 9:45, i would have been walking around town for another 2 hours if i had drank. phew.

Juicy_Forlorn 08-19-2005 10:20 PM
A real farm? Thats cool for a little. But gets kinda boring really soon.
Yes, farms are quite boring. Especially when you are stuck at one all summer with nothing to do....
