Brian, everyone understands english in films... i watch most of the time films in english!
Well, I can't understand German well enough to watch a German movie without subtitles. |
Petey, can you understand English in movies?
Yes, or do you seperate Brtish English and american English? In both cases, I'm fine with them. If there's one thing I hate it's dubbed movies.
Strange. Well, I only go to the ones in Antwerp. I guess we want to be multicultural or something. *aussi
I was in doubt of, how to spell aussi. :p
SEX is OK.
Then you're doing something wrong.
Well, I can't understand German well enough to watch the movie in German.
Last week I watched SAW IV in German, I don't care. I understand it perfectly fine. A whole movie in French might be a bit too much for me, but I can keep up pretty well. |
Because I know you can, silly boy.
i vill take zat as a kompliment tbh I still turn on English subtitles on DVDs so I can follow what's being said because some people are hard to understand |
American English and British English are only different in some vocabulary.
|
and pronunciation :\
I once talked to this Scottish guy in a pub, I didn't understand half he said. |
i vill take zat as a kompliment
tbh I still turn on English subtitles on DVDs so I can follow what's being said because some people are hard to understand
I do that too, for the same reasons.
American English and British English are only different in some vocabulary.
And the accent chap. np: The Foreshadowing - Departure |
Yeah, Irish English is way too mumbled. I had to turn subtitles on during the beginning of Once to understand what was being said.
|
Standard US American is probably the easiest to understand I must admit. ):
But yeah, the Dutch TV channels subtitle Flemish shows and vice versa, it's stupid because it's perfectly intelligible most of the time. |
Some southerners down here have really bad Drawls.
|
Yeah, Southern American is funny.

I'm actually not sure if that's subtitled. But yeah, 99% percentof the time it's perfectly understandable. I remeber they used to subtitle Jambers. That guy always had such a horny voice, perfect for jazz singing in a smokey bar. |
It makes want to punch things.
not really It is hot on some girls. |
I always loved Rogue's voice in X-Men.
:naughty: |
Cajun accents are like the American version of the Cockney accent.
|
Without the cool slang.
|
Cajun food is awesome though so I can't insult them too badly.

Too **
:o haha. Stop talking about food, I'm getting hungry. :( np: Nadja - Big/Golem |

mwahahahah I get my revenge! h5
:( The spacebar on my laptop is so insensitive, so a lot of words come up like that. It sucks, but I can live with it. np: Nadja - Memory Leak Has anyone here ever had/made a White Russian? If so, what kind of cream do you use, the regualrone youuse for whipped cream (with ot without sugar?) And do you whip it or just use it in its liquid state? |
I just had to do it. :)

Ah, mine likes e-cards. Thanks! :p
|
E-cards are easy, but they get the point across.
Ladies just love it hen you pay some attention to them, especially when they don't expect it. |

Thanks. :) That's also cheaper and you use milk more then cream. So it's almost always at hand. I'm going to buy the ingredients, make me one and watch The Big Lebowski Hey Bjorn. Not much going in here. I had a pretty good and relaxed day. Yourself? |
just chilling in my media in art class. listening to the manics.
my school has a really embarassing program called "Valentine grams". people buy cards and send them to people, and the choir hand delivers it to them and sings to them. it's been really hilarious to watch this morning, especially since my 60 year old economics teacher got one about an hour ago. |
Hey Bjorn.

At my school that was such a joke. We would always send it to the mega fags and losers and watch them get excited.
SOMEBODY LIKES ME!!!1!!1 |
