man I don't know of ANYONE other than a few online who uses skype. 98% AIM, 1% MSN, 1% etc

hm, that's all you ask about though, so you wouldn't really know if they had msn or not. GET IT. I'll get you a couple more contacts on there as well.

I'd say it's about 60/40 for AIM in the US, while maybe 70/30 for MSN in Europe. no idea about asia, haha.

Poland has GaduGadu (its another version of ICQ)
German/Austria use Icq
all other european countries use MSN.
America use AIM.

you can have display pictures + you can change names on non-official clients. The name changing isn't universal like msn though.
