Awesome

Nice to hear someone playing those kind of songs

Josiah 03-16-2006 10:46 PM
well i went dress shoe shopping today, ended up getting some black converse lo-tops. my feet are too wide and high to fit into dress shoes. the only type of shoe my feet fit comfortably in are converse shoes.
Ooh man no no... it's all about the Ralph Lauren's.

Double Bass Jim 03-16-2006 10:47 PM

Payless actually

My loafers shine like max roaches.

Josiah 03-16-2006 10:50 PM

HAhahha

Win A Rabbit 03-16-2006 10:59 PM

i tried every dress shoe they had at payless and shoe warehouse (i think that's what it's called) in every size from 11-12.5 (i'm an 11-11.5, depending on the shoe)

i could get my foot into 2 pairs, and both of those felt like the shoe was actually cutting off circulation to my toes.

the reason i needed dress shoes was for a music festival my school band is playing at tomorrow. but hey, i'm percussion, and i'm behind like 4 rows of kids, right?

oh, and in mechanics, we finished our last job (replacing a full exhaust system) and he offered us an option between engine diagnosis and something else. the engine diagnosis sounded more interesting, so we took that. he tells us to go to a booklet of worksheets before we touch the car. so we do an 8-page booklet, finish it today. he was gone today, and the assistant teacher was in charge. he told us we need to do another 3 booklets, with a total of 26 more pages until we touch the car now. bummer.

Josiah 03-17-2006 05:29 AM

Word.. my Paddy Day is going to be great!

We got... sleep in, wake up, smoke pot, drink, go play golf, drink, go racing, smoke pot, drink, girlfriend comes over, drink, walk to party down the block (multi-keg), drink, drink, drink, smoke pot, drink drink drink, stumble home, forgot girlfriend, stumble back, grab girlfriend, stumble home again, whacky weird drunkin sex, end paddy day.

Oh Sic - I'm makin my own muffler myself. Nabbed one from a yard, cut it open, gutted it, and am putting in my own baffles based on my guestimations from the baffle setups on more popular brands.. hopefully it'll sound badass and unique. However always run.. NO CATS!!!

Az_Holl 03-17-2006 05:34 AM

Josiah 03-17-2006 05:34 AM

drinking.. it's paddy day... duh.

Az_Holl 03-17-2006 05:37 AM

Too bad you guys dont get to celebrate Australia day. Its essentially the same thing but you get to eat lamb.

Josiah 03-17-2006 05:38 AM

Hmm... one would think that "Australia Day" would consist of commiting a crime.

Az_Holl 03-17-2006 05:46 AM

Stealing cattle is popular with the youth of today.

*shakes head*

Josiah 03-17-2006 05:47 AM

Cattle? I hope to eat. What else could someone do with a stolen cow?

Az_Holl 03-17-2006 05:58 AM

Set it loose in a comical situation?

Actually one Australia day my mates Uncle and his friends went into the outback and this emu kept sticking its head through the car window, so when it did it again they rolled up the window so it couldnt escape and then one of them got on its back and they released it, with the guy on its back.

I think he got a good 500 metres before he fell off.

Josiah 03-17-2006 06:00 AM

Awww man that's friggin rad!!!

Australia just rules for the animals alone...

Az_Holl 03-17-2006 06:03 AM

The animals are cool, the spiders and snakes are another story...

Drum Phil 03-17-2006 06:05 AM

Josiah 03-17-2006 06:06 AM

Drum Phil 03-17-2006 06:22 AM

Or perhaps a ho-down or a box social

Josiah 03-17-2006 06:25 AM

Soon enough for me.. though I did much surfing near by (can you guess where? haha), haven't had the chance to stop by. I got my eye on a fewlocations around Aussie Land. There's this sick drum shop in perth I hear is worth the trip alone too...

sweet_nothings 03-17-2006 06:46 AM

I just got back from my ag camp - fun stuff. Rural Australia's nice. But the water tasted funny.

We walked/fell through marshes, stood in the middle of a cotton feild, had a bonfire on a beach, went to a slaughter house and slept under the stars. It was some of the most amazing days of my life (except the slaughter house).

With the exception of the bonfire on the beach. That sounds like the typical american black slave day.

Hmmmmmmmmm.....

sweet_nothings 03-17-2006 06:51 AM

Why would they be in marshes?

And by 'typical American black slave' I'm assuming (and hoping) you're talking about several years ago.

It was a camp to try and get us to go live in the country.

Josiah 03-17-2006 06:59 AM

Not sure about the marshes.. but it sounds dirty and that's close enough.

Secondly, unfortunately yes. It's not that I'm a racist - everyone should be able to own a nigger.

Jos, you realise im a brit dont you? :p

Josiah 03-17-2006 07:27 AM

I was refering to near by aussie land... also my rhetorical question (can you guess where?) was hinting at the indo islands, world famous for spectacular surfing.

Besides who in their right mind would want to go near that gloomy wet island of a country you call the "United Kingdom"?

Japanese tourists. And Americans who claim to have Scottish decendants. There were a whole lot of them around after Braveheart came out.

Josiah 03-17-2006 07:30 AM

Well I said right mind - Americans are dumb fatasses.

Drum Phil 03-17-2006 07:32 AM

It has cheap alcohol and cool people like me in it :D
