Well they actually don't have showers that are useable. But we have practice after school anyway so it doesn't matter. The showers in our lockerroom are used for storage. I don't even think they work.

I think in the four years I've been in high school football, I've had one morning practice on a school day.

The High school I went to for grades 9 - 11 went from 8 - 2:05

The HS I went to for Senior started at 7:20 and went until 3

Eh, i bet coach could get it widdled down to 2 hours-ish, but baseball is all about repetition. There is no real aerobic exercising or fitness requirements. Its basically all skill.
Especially since im the pitcher.

Doesn't your shoulder kill you from pitching for 3 hours each day?

We have half an hour lunches but you're allowed to go off campus from your junior year.

HS for me was like 8:00 AM - 2:25 PM for the most part

Soon it will be 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Not happy with that, but what can I do, you know? That plus BJJ pretty much every day for an hour, and Saturdays i'll get a half hour in between going to school and hanging out at open mat. **** yes I finally have a life :o

I dont pitch everyday. I throw toss and in the infield, but i only get on the mound to pitch 3 times a week. Less possibly, if theres a game.
And yes, even with all the training and pitch scheduling, my arm kills and has built up quite a bit of scar tissue. My doctor said it would take a few months of inactivity for it to heal.
Ah well, i just over stretch it. If i take twice as long to warm up, and pop a couple advil im good to go.
