Bwahaha.
I love Arrested Development.
Too bad I've still got 1 day, 21 hours left torrenting it.

mysticalyeti 06-17-2006 12:59 AM

What client? I prefer to download an episode or two at a time so I can just start watching faster..

Janeway 06-17-2006 01:05 AM

uTorrent.
It just went back down to about 20 hours.

I'm tempted to do an episode at a time, but it's all wonky and I'm afraid to screw my other downloads up.

Corkofski 06-17-2006 01:16 AM

How would you like a banger in the mouth? Oh, I forgot, here in the colonies you call it a sausage in the mouth.

Janeway 06-17-2006 09:17 AM

Cupcake.

CUPCAKE!

I'm awake. At the ungodly hour of 11. I went to bed at 3:30.
That's only like...8 hours of sleep.
And my hair has this really funky texture to it.

No wonder why you're always in here.

Samsamthegiantman

Your name is just so catchy.

fishbulb 06-17-2006 12:08 PM

My two year drumming anniversary was two days ago. I remembered, but i just forgot to post it here.

Janeway 06-17-2006 12:09 PM

Oh my god.

Try whistling a note, and then hum a note in a different pitch while you keep whistling.

fishbulb 06-17-2006 12:13 PM

You make some crazy UFO sound. I do it all the time.

Me too. I saw Futureman playing one with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones at Wakarusa, it was pretty cool.

Jody LeCompte 06-17-2006 01:33 PM

Futureman is the most tasteless musician of the Wooten clan. He's not great behind a set and he tries all this weird percussion.

Wooten and Reggie are just as bad as playing tastefully, mind you.

Ahahaha. There is no way in hell that would work.
It would splash everywhere.

But it looks like the the spoons they used to give you when they first introduced McFlurrys.

I really like free/avant-garde jazz.
=/
It's so off that it makes sense.

Have you ever seen the Flecktones? Each member is extremely talented, Futureman to a lesser extent. Bela Fleck, Victor Wooten, and Jeff Coffin work so well together.

Talented? Yes. Do they make good music? Not usually, especially on their newer stuff. Most of it just sounds like elevator music played by really good musicians. Sure, each member might pull off great solos, but what they play together...ehhh.

FullMoon 06-17-2006 02:17 PM

He's in a band.

shame that that Tama rockstar custom mirror finish bass drum was given to him...

And cube, after watching that, please kill me

Not based on when I saw them. They were one of the top three shows at Wakarusa, easily. They flowed very well together. That includes both their more upbeat music, as well as their ambient music. I can understand why many people wouldn't like them though.

Jezen 06-17-2006 03:43 PM

I just noticed today that my chopsy-orientated ideas are all very similar to John Tempesta's ideas. That's not good.

Ming-a-Ling 06-17-2006 04:29 PM

You just get that done man? I just got back from getting a tattoo too. I got my friends initials with a nautical star (sans the red) under it.

Janeway 06-17-2006 04:33 PM

And I bet you squealed like a cat with it's paw in a toaster.

Speaking of cats, I got effed in the face by mine because I was holding her in one arm and watering the garden in the other. I didn't think that fat shit sack was capable of that type of movement.

Ming-a-Ling 06-17-2006 04:35 PM

Nah, no squealing. It didn't really hurt that much. I got it done on my forearm, and it hurt a little when it got closer to the wrist, but mostly it just kinda felt like he was putting heat on my arm.

edit: it does kind of hurt now though. Feels sorta like I have a scrape or something.
