I get in phases like that, where all of a sudden one band/song is the coolest thing on the earth, then several months later its someone else.
Way to stand up for what you beleive in!

Do you know whats something I should have asked you guys a long time ago?! How do you enjoy listening to your music? Really loud? Really quiet? Medium? Do you sing along? Air guitar? Try to imitate instruments? Tap your feet?

I'm a feet tapping, sing-along, air guitar, mimick any noises, likes it loud kind of guy. Just to let you know.

edit- and when no ones around......I DANCE! :naughty:
I'll start tap dancing if a song is really good. Like crazy toe-stand-traveling backstep-falap heel falap-chug-chug-scuff with-a-couple-of-riff-walks-and-a buffalo-for-good-measure tap dancing. But only if it's really good. Sometimes I will settle for heel drops if I am on a bus though

And it's true, hippie chicks love to dance :upset:

magicbus 08-25-2005 12:02 PM

When I'm in the car, I have it up unbelievably loud. I like to let the people know what I'm listening to. I also like singing along really loud, mostly when I'm in the car, but also at home.

I'm always doing something to the beat, either tapping my feet, snapping, etc. Although I never air guitar, I do sometimes make the solo noises with my mouth.

I'm always in a good mood when listening to music too.

NP: Locomotive Breath by Tull.

Broken Arrow 08-25-2005 02:32 PM

Neil Young's s/t is good.

Broken Arrow is such an amazing song.
Badas music is best loud.

I like any music loud, unless it's not good. The only reason I ever turn down music is when people are trying to have a conversation, and I only do it to be polite. I'd rather just yell over the music, than turn it down. Although I suppose when I say loud, I don't mean like super loud, just loud enough so no other sounds are louder than the music.

I've got this song in my head, it's called Poverty Train by Laura Nyro. Anyone hear this song before? It was in some movie and I can't remember which movie. It's a great song too, she's an amazing singer.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 08-25-2005 03:18 PM

I dont like any songs off the s/t.

I have come to the conclusion that Jeff Beck's Truth is AMAZING.

Have you heard Guitar Shop? Its from '89 but its a pretty good album and shows he still has his stuff after 20 years. Blow By Blow is my personal favorite, Jeff Beck is just amazing.

I didn't much care for Truth, Blow by Blow on the other hand is absolutely amazing.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 08-25-2005 04:30 PM

At first neither did I but after giving it a few more listins it really should have legendary status by now. It could quite be the beggining of Metal; truly revolutionary. I don't like Rod's singing much though. :-/

Woodstock 08-25-2005 04:36 PM

Truth is a great album. Beck's Bolero is one of my favorites. Keith Moon and Jimmy Page make cameos.

thickasabrick 08-25-2005 04:38 PM

np: Bob Dylan - Ballad of a Thin Man.

I'm practically addicted to that song right now.

I actually like Rod's voice, but some of his stuff is just...eww...

Jacaranda 08-25-2005 05:00 PM

I only have Guitar Shop on Vynil, but I'll see if I can't get the song Guitar Shop up, its a crazy song.

JonG 08-25-2005 05:40 PM

Badmoon, do you happen to like The Pizza Tapes?

I've almost bought this several times at Circuit City, but I didn't know if it was supposed to be any good or not.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 08-25-2005 06:08 PM

Can you post a good bootleg? :)

I got into the Jeff by listining to the Yardbirds and Jeff put out the best out of the 3 guitarists so I followed up on it and eventully got Blow by Blow. No one really introduced me to him or anything. I hope he tours the US next year. He's touring Japan right now (I think). I would do anything to see him.

JonG 08-25-2005 06:12 PM

I got into Beck when someone uploaded Truth a month or so back. Good album as stated ^^^

Canadian-Guy 08-25-2005 06:14 PM

I keep seeing this two-disc Yardbirds set at a used CD store near me from $18. I'm contemplating buying it.
