It was spliced and like 4 hours long.

I just wanted to see Shankar and Big Brother and the Holding Company.

Edit: Eggg. He told me it was the whole festival.

I dunno. I never got really into the music of that era, except for the Doors. I've dabbled in Hendrix, the Dead, and Joplin, and I'm pretty much familiar with all of the bands, because of my parents, but I don't make a habit out of listening to it recreationally.

Futuro 06-16-2006 04:14 PM
I also don't think Monterey was 3 days long. Woodstock was, but Woodstock was much bigger.
It was. :-/

The only artist I was intrested in was Ravi Shankar. But then again im not into much modern western music.

Wow, that's it?

Mine...well...would take longer than need-be to post.

Janeway 06-16-2006 05:00 PM

New computer.

On my old comp, I had about 120 full albums, but they're all on disks jammed in my box of PSP games. =/

Sunshine 06-16-2006 05:01 PM

Ahh.

That's the only thing that sucks about getting a new computer. You either have to download everything again, burn it to CD, or...yeah.

Janeway 06-16-2006 05:04 PM

I didn't actually have to.
My old comp is hooked up in my music room with direct connection to this one, so I would have access to all of my old files had I not thought I had to burn them to disc...but wait, nobody cares.
Pity.

I'm bored.

fishbulb 06-16-2006 05:23 PM
First day of summer and I'm hella bored, not a good sign...
Yeah, me too. That's just because my friend went to work and he's getting off in 4 hours.

Seafroggys 06-16-2006 06:21 PM

first night of summer break, my friend and I play smash bros. melee for 3 hours, then play Tiberian Sun from midnight until 8 in the morning.

fishbulb 06-16-2006 06:33 PM
Ahh.

I have two harddrives in my computer. One is set to my documents ie. music and a ny downloads. And the other is for windows and all installed programs. I keep every thing that i download. Then when i reinstall windows i don't lose any of my crap. It's nice.

Janeway 06-16-2006 06:36 PM

I just went swimming for an hour and a half.
I feel so relaxed now.

And so far I'm on day two of substituing swimming for showering.

fishbulb 06-16-2006 06:37 PM

I don't see a need for showering everyday unless you're really physically active. If all you do is hang inside you don't need to.

Janeway 06-16-2006 06:44 PM

I only really shower because of my hair.
I shower at night, so I can go the two days after the night I shower before my hair gets unbearably greasy. It's basically like it's wet, and if I brush it back, it looks kind of like a pompadour mullet.
The chlorene strips the grease out, though.

Double Bass Jim 06-16-2006 06:45 PM

Its good for the hair when ya skip a day

Seafroggys 06-16-2006 06:55 PM

yeah, washing and shampoing your hair every day without conditioner really fries it, especially when you have somewhat long hair.

Ever since I started using conditionar, my hairs been soft and silky....good for the ladied

Janeway 06-16-2006 07:04 PM

How the hell can you not use conditioner if you've got long hair?
I can't even brush my hair with out it, and if I do manage, it puffs up like hell and I can't tame it.

I dunno. I used to shampoo my hair twice and then use conditioner, but ever since I started to shampoo it only once instead, my hair is a lot softer and tame.

fishbulb 06-16-2006 07:13 PM

How long is your hair?

Janeway 06-16-2006 07:28 PM

I just measured. Sixteen inches from my part to the tip.

mysticalyeti 06-16-2006 07:30 PM

I have long hair and conditioner is a must D:

Or rather, my hair is a bitch anyway, and it helps

snoop-au 06-16-2006 07:39 PM

3/4" here ... :)

Janeway 06-16-2006 07:42 PM

If AIDS is a punishment for homosexuality, why are lesbians one of the lowest risk groups for AIDS infection?? That makes us like...the chosen people.

Seafroggys 06-16-2006 07:59 PM

well, my hair isn't long, but its longer then the traditional men's cut. I'd say my hairs are about 4-6" in length

fishbulb 06-16-2006 08:45 PM

^^^ Mine too. Goes a little past the tip of my nose.

fishbulb 06-16-2006 08:47 PM
glad I could help!

now if I could only somehow get a rep point for posting this every couple months..... ;)

I very new to this forum. Can users give other users rep points?
One of THE funniest things i've seen on here.

Seafroggys 06-16-2006 08:58 PM
^^^ Mine too. Goes a little past the tip of my nose.
eh, maybe I over measured my hair. My bangs only go in between my eyes, and the top of the nose.

PandaDrummer 06-16-2006 09:00 PM

ah... I miss my long hair.
I cut off a 13" ponytail when I had it cut. now im growing it back out to 4" mabey
I don't know yet

Seafroggys 06-16-2006 09:20 PM

two years ago today I bought my current drumset, and tomorrow is my 2 year MXversary!

Win A Rabbit 06-16-2006 10:31 PM

My hair goes down past my nipples with my neck fully extended. I love long hair, I've had it pretty much all my life.

GhostGrooveMike 06-16-2006 10:32 PM

Wooh I've been away from el forum for about 2 weeks and I just finally got my name changed
Booyah kasha esquan likcy licky wagwan
Anyways what's been going on?

Sunshine 06-16-2006 10:58 PM

Haha, I freaking love my hair.

Its like..."emo" hair, but then not really. "Anime" hair, I guess you'd call it.

It's chin length in the front for like an inch and a half, and then it angles up from the ear to the back, where it's nice and shaved. Not skin-tight [ew, I'd look icky bald], but...razor #4.

I just bought my dad a fedora for father's day. Hope he likes it, it cost like $30 =/

Ming-a-Ling 06-16-2006 11:10 PM

My hair sucks. It's very thick and unmanageable. I usually cut it short and rub some goo into it, but there is usually only about a 1-2 week window where it looks somewhat presentable. When it's too short, it all sticks straight up, regardless of what I do to it, and when it gets longer, if I goo it up, it just all falls down flat. I wouldn't mind it laying flat, but I don't want it to have the goo look if it does. But if I try to just comb it down flat, it poofs out. I used to have shoulder lenght hair and I remember hating it very much, but for some reason right now I'm growing it out. I think I'm just going to buy some thinning shears and give those a try and just cut it short again =/

drumtoke 06-16-2006 11:13 PM

hey im Kurtis
Ive never posted in this thread before and its probly none of my buisness...

Ming

Epiphender 06-16-2006 11:26 PM

This is the garbage thread of D&P.

Janeway 06-16-2006 11:32 PM

I just masturbated for an hour and five minutes, and had an unbelievably crappy orgasm. God dammit. It never fucking ends.

Ming-a-Ling 06-16-2006 11:33 PM

Garbage thread?? This is the best thread of D&P.

Janeway 06-16-2006 11:47 PM

Okay.
So, I've been thinking.
Sputnik is the infamous russian sattelite. The name beatnik was derived from sputnik by Herb Caen, as he was trying to accuse the beat generation as being pro-communist.
So...is MX communist?

Double Bass Jim 06-17-2006 12:04 AM

2089 pages of garbage

You heard it right

drumtilidie 06-17-2006 12:29 AM
