Untitled 09-02-2006 05:18 PM

OMG a band added me on myspace, and there not actully that bad.

Jessizzle 09-02-2006 05:20 PM

Bands add me everyday.
Its kinda annoying haveing to shift thru so many bands to find your friends. but they're real good most of the time.

Untitled 09-02-2006 05:21 PM

I generaly get indie bands from manchester adding me, but i just got a ska band from surry adding me.

Kif 09-02-2006 05:23 PM

Why is there a girl sitting on the toilet on your profile friends Butler?

Untitled 09-02-2006 05:25 PM

Hahaha.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 09-02-2006 05:27 PM

Seriously, what was she thinking when she took that? It's creepy.

Ugh, I can't be arsed with finishing my profile. Photoshop runs badly on my Mactop and makes it overheat a bit.

Untitled 09-02-2006 05:59 PM

Haha. that sounds so wrong in my head.

Why does it seem that BBC are only showing Reading fest highlights

Untitled 09-02-2006 05:59 PM
WHEN!?!?!
Right now.

From 11:30 till 1:30

poprocks&coke 09-02-2006 06:00 PM

I'm off.

Byeee! :)

Untitled 09-02-2006 06:02 PM

I wonder why :chinstroke:

Ive noticed a pattern, there showing NME/Radio 1 tent highlights from leeds, and Main Stage from Reading

WOOO THE RAKES!!!

Jessizzle 09-02-2006 06:19 PM

I just had a big fight with my parents about me wanting to take another music class..
Honestly, I dont see what the big deal is of me switching from Gym to Music.
they're like blah blah blah, Two music classes are pointless, choose one.
But honestly. i will learn so much more in music than gym.. so wtf. I love gym. but im allready on TWO sports teams, so i dont want to like... take in In class too.

Kif 09-02-2006 06:19 PM

They don't film Leeds I don't think. It's always the secondary of the 2 festivals. They film backstage stuff sometimes, but the performances on TV are all Reading usually.

they do, becuase they have been showing leeds on bbc3.

and as i said, it seems the radio1/nme is being shown from leeds, because all the acts on that on the tv so far have looked familier, reading has the main stage though.

Geez if you're on two sports teams... what's the class(es)?

Kif 09-02-2006 06:31 PM

Don't know if anyone cares, but My Chemical Romance uploaded "Welcome To The Black Parade" on their Myspace. The studio version sounds a lot better, feels quite arena-rock in the beginning.

Jessizzle 09-02-2006 06:32 PM

Im allready in Guitar. and I want to take instrumental music again so i can play trumpet in jazz band.
I can play in band without taking the class.. but man i will be so lost.
Apparently by taking two music classes im wasteing my life..
but how is gym so much better?

PDWAB 09-02-2006 06:35 PM

Why would you be lost?

Untitled 09-02-2006 06:37 PM

SHould i try out for my uni cricket teams?

I was well impressed with my uni...

They have proper american style hoodies, with the uni name on it and stuff

Jessizzle 09-02-2006 06:38 PM

Im not the strongest trumpet player.. i kinda suck. And in class he breaks down all the songs and goes over it and over it bar by bar. and in pratice its all real fasted pace and if you dont get it, he still moves on.

I think that would be totally sweet to have as a poster.

Jess you won't be doing anyone any favors if you're playing badly and not getting better.

Congratz!

Man being a band director for highschool kids is mad hard, cause so many people are not serious.

Sorry, but im the girl who comes to pratice high Or even drunk once. Oh thats WHEN I decide to come.. but you keep in the band because you NEED a trumpet player.

Not always. I had a band director who kicked out one of the best trombone players because of that. That teacher valued teaching to the kids over how good other people thought his band sounded.

Kif 09-02-2006 07:02 PM

Oh I completely forgot! My mum's friend at work knows someone who has just opened a studio here in Lincoln. I really want to see if I can go down there and get more involved in studio work, which would be awesome.

Kif 09-02-2006 07:06 PM

P.S. - This album is going to kick my arse

That's how I'd teach to be honest. Why let someone who comes into practise irregularly, and sometimes high or drunk, when everyone else is taking it seriously?

No offence Jess.

Word, that's the way I see it. Band is only supposed to be fun when you're playing to the best of your ability, not because you think you can get away with stuff!
