'Tis true...to bad though, Spencer is good and all, but really we need someone who checks on stuff like the Blink thread more. PDWAB is rarely on..demod him? :p

Joel is in college now and can get on the interweb a lot more, and his activity has increased a lto recently. We just need the retards in here to talk proberly once in a while, everywhere else is fine now.

Mute Print 10-10-2005 11:35 AM

Well, you knew the good spelling/grammar, and intelligent conversation had to be broken up at some point...

Edit - I was referring to Juice Box's post of course.

True.
I don't think I ever listened to the Tom Mark and Travis Show. I downloaded it but never got around to listening to it.
Good album, the jokes are realy funny, especialy at the very end where it has the 10 minutes of extra pure jokes. Some of the songs soung better too, such as carousel, going away to college, etc.

DJ Ducksauce 10-10-2005 11:40 AM

Don't you just love it when a n00b comes in here and bashes blink?

MTTS is a great album of blink. It's sad how much they've changed. The jokes at the end are kind of weird though.

I love the jokes on that album, there awesome...and as for juice box...your my friend (or not my friend I guess) are a total moron, leave.

Independent_CA 10-10-2005 12:22 PM

Blink sounds nothing like Metallica, and the only person in the band who really liked them was Scott.

16 Nipples 10-10-2005 12:29 PM

TMTATS version of Peggy Sue and Carousel kicks ***, way better than the album versions.

DJ Ducksauce 10-10-2005 12:32 PM

MTTS is a great album over all

/puts it on

DJ Ducksauce 10-10-2005 01:02 PM

I actually prefer the album version of GAtC, but pretty all the rest of it sounds so much better then on the album.

It's a shame they played Mutt and Wendy Clear instead of Anthem and Party Song though.

EDIT: And why isn't Dysentry Gary on there? That kicked when I saw them play that at Reading a couple of years ago.

I really want a new live album. Surely they've recorded some of their shows.

Just so long as its not them at Brixton Academy last year, that's fine.

I agree, a live album and the greatest hits being released at the same time would be nice. Just as a kinda farewell thing.

DJ Ducksauce 10-10-2005 01:41 PM

I wouldn't mind them.

Bah..Wish I had better way to download them...actually upload them anyways, I know how I can get them.

Untitled 10-10-2005 01:44 PM

All 3?

Untitled 10-10-2005 01:46 PM

Ill upload them all on here, its easier them emailing them to poeple, as i said there not official audio files, but if anyone wants me to send them to them then i will. Ill get uploading in a minute, it might take a while.

Surtr 10-10-2005 01:47 PM

Oh wait, you'd have to send it to my email wouldn't you? Or would you be able to put it up on YSI..I forget the exact rules and such about this kinda stuff.

chumpradio 10-10-2005 01:48 PM

Butler, I love you.
I remember telling everyone about that Manchester bootleg, and I've not had it for ages. :( All my friends have cds of it I gave them, but I didn't think about making myself one.

True, but Travis was a better drummer..Can I be both? The amazing drumming side of Travis, and then the rest of Scott.
scott was a better drummer

chumpradio 10-10-2005 01:53 PM
scott was a better drummer
No he wasn't.
He used the same basic drum beats for every single song. Travis is faster, and adds a lot more variety to the music, and his drumming is more original.

These_Green_Eyes 10-10-2005 01:56 PM

I like Voyeur on TMTATS, I think it sounds better then on Dude Ranch. I also enjoy the part when they stop the song for about a minute.

Surtr 10-10-2005 01:58 PM
scott was a better drummer
You obviously don't play drums.

Pazz 10-10-2005 02:04 PM

Scott was a good drummer. Travis is better, but I perfer Scott.

And Butler, I wouldn't mind getting those live sets off of you.

If you need my e-mail it's punk_1025@hotmail.com

The rules are something like you cant upload album and songs by a band, which you'd have to pay for, or something, but this isnt an official file, so you know....

if mods or who ever have a problem with then fine, i can email it to you all, im not botherd.

Haha, yeah. Nice to see bands representing Carlin.

Bad Blood 10-10-2005 02:55 PM
scott was a better drummer
Scott was fast.

Travis was a lot more complex and more technical.

Untitled 10-10-2005 03:03 PM

Scott suited the band more it think.

DJ Ducksauce 10-10-2005 03:06 PM

Yeah, Scott seemed like he was actually fun. Travis doesn't really fit in with Tom and Mark.

Untitled 10-10-2005 03:10 PM

Ive always got that impression, im sure there all realy good mates and stuff, he just dosnt fit.

DJ Ducksauce 10-10-2005 03:12 PM

Not to mention that he's a foot shorther that they are.
