Page eleven of the nominations is done. Wasn't too long because there was a lot of extra posting going on that didn't have anything to do with lists. Fine with me! Half of the pages are now completed, but since the last ones are mostly full of bickering, that means I'm MORE than halfway done counting. Yay!

I've had a fantastic weekend. I just saw an Indian dance ceremony for my girlfriend's dance teacher, where she graduated to one of the highest levels in this type of dance. The music was fantastic and me, the gf, and a bunch of friends had a great dinner. I haven't been here in a while, so fill me in on what's going on. :)

the only downside of my party was, I was on my bike, and had to cycle 30 minutes to get there, and 30 minutes to get back, and it was freaking cold for the first time in November (that caught me by surprise)

It was a pretty scary night really, we were at some hard techno club, where we saw a girl collapse on the dance floor. Drink spiking apparently. Then I went to check up on one of the girls we went there with, and her eyes were rolling around in her head really badly. It wasn't cool. :(

at my old job a girl collapsed, she had some sort of epeleptic(sp?) seizure.
it was scary like hell, and lots of people just staring at this girl, without doing a thing.

I've seen a total of 4 seizures in my time. One when the kid who lived next door hit his head on concrete, two from a mate of mine who suffers from epilepsy, and the last was my last bands drummer, who suffered from an overdose of anti-depressants. They are the four scariest experiences of my life.

It's hard to know what to do in those situations as well, which is why most people seem to stand in awe.

All the works by Bach were awesome, particularly BWV 548 and BWV 686. The organist talked about the works before he played, and he said that BWV 686 was in six parts! Two parts for each hand and a part for each foot.

Hadn't heard of this composer before, so it was the first time I heard this piece. It was pretty good, but not up there with Bach.

I had never heard of this composer before yesterday, but wow. This piece of music was incredible. It created an incredible atmosphere and in places it sounded downright menacing.

Later in the evening I went out, met some friends and drank vodka. All in all, a great evening.
