I'm thinking about starting to skate board. A lot of my friends skate and I thought it would be pretty cool to rolll around town with em. I won't really do tricks just kick push. Probably just gunna long board, is this stupid?

Janeway 06-14-2006 08:47 PM

Yes.
Skaters are dickheads.

White 06-14-2006 09:24 PM
Brand new they are worth much more than $125. They are the same quality as 2002. New, the cheapest I have seen them is $235. The only thing that would make me hate you more is if they are Crunch hats.
ya they are brandnew, never used, but ya, made in 2002 haha. They are Thin heavy, so ya, Im pretty damn happy with the sound.

I just found a spider in my bra.

And showed my mother my boobs while trying to get it out.
That would suck :(.

When I was canoeing last week, I looked down, and there was a huge spider sitting on my leg. I guess my girly instincts kicked in for once or something because I started flailing around, trying unsuccessfully to kill it with my paddle. Whilst doing this, our canoe drifted off into the reeds and my friend I was canoeing with started yelling at me to just kill it and start paddling. I felt like such a girl afterwards :upset:.

Futuro 06-14-2006 10:05 PM

I just made a sweet vid of me drumming to Lateralus.

uploading to You tube now.

Maggot Dream 06-14-2006 10:38 PM

Oh man....I got my new hats today. Paiste Signature Sound Edge, 14". They are unbelieveable, totally worth the price. I might put some pictures up tomorrow.

Sunshine 06-14-2006 10:55 PM

I just had my first drum lesson.

It was freaking awesome.

He decided that he hates my 13" tom.

And he gave me some papers to practice, showed me how, and left.

And now that I have a direction to go in, I want to play more than ever.

Damn it being past 9 olcock =(
Yes.
Skaters are dickheads.
I used to skate. I don't think i'm a dickhead.

Sunshine 06-15-2006 12:23 AM

I skated once, long ago.

Then my dad took by board. 'Cause he liked it.

And then...I really don't know what happened, it's either in the garage or got lost in the move.

Futuro 06-15-2006 12:24 AM

Jumping off ledges has always appealed to me.

:-/

Sunshine 06-15-2006 12:49 AM

Snowboarding's much more fun though.

I just got new bindings, Flow 9's...<333333333333333333

Double Bass Jim 06-15-2006 12:52 AM

One day i'll own a bouncy castle...

I gotta get one its one of those things I gotta have.

PandaDrummer 06-15-2006 12:57 AM

I wish it snowed here in dallas...damn
but I used to skate, like, hardcore...

Damnit futuro I thought you were actually gonnna play it, not air drum it in the dark...I wasted 50 seconds waiting for that to load...gah!

Sunshine 06-15-2006 12:59 AM

It doesn't snow here, except like 6 hours north =(

Me and my dad used to skip schoo/work every Friday during the season to go snowboarding, and we'd go to a new place every time...in Japan there are SO MANY PLACES TO GO.

I visited my snowboard in the garage today. It had dust on it, and made me want to cry T-T It's a beautiful board. Nitro Shogun <3

Corkofski 06-15-2006 01:54 AM
One day i'll own a bouncy castle...

I thought I was the only one to want one of those.

My half sister is an idiot and rented one for a fucking 1 year old's birthday party. Waste of money if you ask me.

Sunshine 06-15-2006 09:46 AM

Haha, MWR has ones to rent.

They did at a church picnic once, and I, being the high and mighty 15 [or was it 14]-year-old at the time, was told to "monotor" it...from the inside =D

PandaDrummer 06-15-2006 09:54 AM

my friend had a bounce house at his 18th birthday party....that was sooo fun, I did backflips and such for hours.

Janeway 06-15-2006 10:01 AM

I always end up tipping the bouncy castles over when I'm in one.
=/

Electric Requiem 06-15-2006 10:05 AM

everyone loves bouncy castles

Janeway 06-15-2006 10:15 AM

GOD DAMMIT!
The first time I try to hard boil eggs, I end up soft boiling them.
Or, kind of.
The yolk was runny, but the whites around the yolk were runny too.

I wanted egg salad so bad.

Sunshine 06-15-2006 10:18 AM

Mmm...egg salad.

Speaking of, I havn't eaten breakfast yet...damnit, out of waffles. They were lego-shaped and I can't get more 'til Tuesday..=(
Snowboarding's much more fun though.

Yeah, I can see it becoming much more fun with time... once it was mastered. When I tried it, my ass was on fire for the rest of the day.

Janeway 06-15-2006 10:33 AM

Mmm.
I made fried bologna with raw onions instead.

I still want egg salad.

Sunshine 06-15-2006 10:35 AM
Yeah, I can see it becoming much more fun with time... once it was mastered. When I tried it, my ass was on fire for the rest of the day.
Haha, yeah, it takes awhile...but it's the most fun I've ever had doing anything resembling a sport...[well, it is a sport, but you get it]. And it's so funny to read the magazines that talk about how every boarder dreams of going through the trees in Japan and it's the greatest thing ever blah blah blah...and that's where I learned. Which makes the majority of State-side boarding suck, miserablly, but that's why we go to Canada =)

Sunshine 06-15-2006 10:36 AM

Maybe I'll make myself a toasted cheese sandwich later.

With mustard. Dijon mustard <3

maniac0796 06-15-2006 10:50 AM

I have discovered over the past two weeks that corneto's taste nicer than feasts.

Also, cheese on toast is lush, and co op peanut butter is wrank compared to tesco value. Tesco value peanut butter and apple juice > than anything else.

Ohhh, and twigletts dipped in peanut butter are tasty :D

PandaDrummer 06-15-2006 10:55 AM

I'm allergic to peanuts :(

Janeway 06-15-2006 10:56 AM

I'm so sick of peanut butter.

I've eaten it nearly every single day for the last 10 months.

Whatever happened to just driving really fast? Is that not fun enough anymore? This drifting thing is retarded.

Josiah 06-15-2006 11:11 AM

Ironically Drifting is not the fastest way to take turns. It's a very cool looking way, but not the fastest.

drummerdave 06-15-2006 11:34 AM

i saw a video of a guy drifting around a corner and slamming right into a cop, it was freaking hilarious, too bad i cant find the video anywhere

Janeway 06-15-2006 11:39 AM

They're haying the field next to my house.
Ugh. I hate the smell of hay.

TTTSNB 06-15-2006 11:45 AM
Ironically Drifting is not the fastest way to take turns. It's a very cool looking way, but not the fastest.
Yeah, it seems just like conventionally braking then accelerating into the turn would be faster. You take racing lessons by any chance?

White 06-15-2006 11:46 AM

Im a fan of Drifting, its pretty cool looking haha. And also, My new AA rock Crash and AAX splash get here today :), and then saturday im buying a boom stand, splash mount, and a tom mount, then I'm wondering about buying another boom stand lol.

Sunshine 06-15-2006 12:07 PM

Arg, Saturday I have to go to the mall with my mom and buy some collared shirts and junk.

They're forcing me to lect at church. I freaking hate reading out loud.
