it's like the internet has this stigma - if you use it to form friendships or find gf's or w/e you're pathetic

WHEN IN REALITY

the internet is a MUCH better source than irl, the point of friendships is commonality and for people like me who don't like generic shit, the internet has been an excellent tool in finding commonality

it is physically impossible for me to stay in time for more than 4 or 5 measures at a time

my friend was telling me about this grad student at school that was playing drums with his ensemble

the guy was doing blast beats in 9/8, apparently there was a weird skip he would do in the middle

wish I was able to go an either sit in and listen or even play with them but nope, not good enough/not in music

Well I just wanna watch the slam dunk contest, hoping it'll be good as it's been zzz the past few years. It starts at 7 my time, no clue what time that is for you though.

I downloaded that Frank Ocean, still have yet to listen to it though. But I'm assuming since it's of that it's good as they seem to not be able to do anything wrong haha.

i mean when i'm playing with people i can stay in time perfectly but when it's just me playing drums without anything else i cannot for the fucking life of me stay in time. and i can't find headphones that will go loud enough for me to hear a metronome while i'm playing. super frustrated.
