usually I chat to other dudes at shows, I mean there's common ground pretty much there anyway

i like going to shows with no more than three friends. too many people and it gets kind of weird. i feel like i can't be myself. it's especially annoying when you're going to eat after the show and nobody can agree on anything. or sometimes people who don't even like the music tag along and halfway through they're like, "dude, when is this over?"

Im actually going to a show with my brothers friend from school next month

he seems cool I guess, dude likes pretty much every type of music except mallcore

I wish I could find people to go to shows with, it's like no one likes the music I do/has heard of the bands I have (which aren't even obscure to begin with)

My only shows so far are Black Mountain, MTB, and Backstreet Boys (don't hate). Wanna attempt to catch BB King when he rolls through though

i don't go to as many shows as i used to. i don't drive so i'm limited to venues in the hollywood and silver lake areas. and for some reason bands i like tend to play either too far east in like pomona and ****, or down in the anaheim area.

we get so many good bands its crazy. so far in 2010 we've gotten:

japandroids, toro y moi, caribou, mewithoutyou, and the faint

all within the actual city too
