I take back nice things I said about Mogwai. They havent announced a Notts gig date for their tour. The nearest to me is Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton. There isnt even an obtainable London date.

How is it?

Hard to tell - it was not like anything I typically see. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it again, but I do think it was terribly poignant and sad. I can't make up my mind whether it was great or not, though part of me thinks it is. It hasn't really fully sunk in yet.

Basically, it's about two cowboys who find out that they're, well, gay for each other, and the movie describes the effects of that relationship of the rest of their lives, as well as the rest of their lives on that relationship. There actually wasn't a lot of serious man-on-man action, though they did kiss a lot. There was more heterosexual nudity and, ahem, stuff, than anything else, really.

I think it depends on who you are. If you're into romances, you might look into this one. It's the critics' darling at the moment. It's an interesting story.
