Sorry, maybe I could send it to you over AIM sometime.

I'm uploading another song from the album. It's more of a funky, groovy rock song.
Now you're just making me jealous. :upset: They sound like a supergroup who play all diffrent genres of music, just the kind of band I'd love.

Woodstock 04-29-2005 05:56 PM

This is the best song on the album to me. It's called "Season of the Witch". I believe this is Stills playing lead guitar.

Stephen Stills sure did get around.

This was actually before CSN or CSNY. This is 1968.

Don't I know it! ;) :naughty:

Well then he would eventually get around.

Yea, but I love how the album shows his future potential.

thickasabrick 04-29-2005 06:02 PM

I'd like to thank whoever posted Aretha Franklin's version of The Weight (it was a little while ago). I've been listening to that song quite regularly, I think it's great.

Glitterati 04-29-2005 06:02 PM

On the subject of CSNY, has anyone heard the song "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress" by The Hollies (Graham Nash's band) ? That's probably the only song by them I really like, though.

It's actually one of the only songs I've heard by the Hollies. I always used to mistake it for CCR/John Fogerty.

Cool song :thumb: Especially when it picks up.

Stills>Kooper>Bloomfield

I have that on CD, though I didn't really know. I'm listening ot it now. It really reminds of CCR, great song.

In other news, Neil Young would have ot be the best musician, songwriter, artist to come out of CSNY.

They have a bunch of other English hits. Some we've all probably heard before, but don't know it.

So how's Season of the Witch? Thanks, Badmoon.

I think Stills is a much better musician than Young. But in songwriting, he wins.

lunch998 04-29-2005 06:10 PM

I like CSN more than CSNY for some reason.

I would disagree on the songwriting subject, but my opinion on the occasionally varies. I do think Stills owns him melody wise. though.

thickasabrick 04-29-2005 06:11 PM

Well I'm not sure about musical ability...but I love Neil Youngs music and prefer listening to him than any of the other CSNY members.

TheDMV 04-29-2005 06:12 PM

^Every song on Deja Vu is good, but they didn't have many with Young so I guess you could say that CSN is better.

lunch998 04-29-2005 06:13 PM
^Every song on Deja Vu is good, but they didn't have many with Young so I guess you could say that CSN is better.
After saying that I realized I was just comparing the CSN s/t, to Deja Vu, and I prefer CSN.

Woodstock 04-29-2005 06:14 PM

I also like Deja Vu more than CSN's s/t.

TheDMV 04-29-2005 06:17 PM

Yeah, I haven't heard too much just CSN but the song Cathedral is absolutley beautiful. It is a clear choice for my favorite song by them.

I've never heard that one.

Broken Arrow 04-29-2005 06:25 PM

I like Dark Star by CSN.

TheDMV 04-29-2005 06:27 PM

Aw, I just I'm just finishing uploading. ****.

AIM?

thickasabrick 04-29-2005 06:35 PM

If you don't mind posting it on yousendit as well...I would be very thankful. I haven't been able to download songs for about 2 weeks now (computer problems) so everything I've gotten lately is from yousendit (thanks to you guys mostly).

(if you don't wanna it's no big deal)
