Spring break is going to be pretty boring for the most part. All of my friends have gone away for more than half of it.

Damn man... where you live?

On spring break im probably going to be with my beeaaautiful girlfriend the whole time. Snow shoeing and all that good stuff.

The stronghold is prettty dead right now.

rockindrummer 03-13-2006 02:21 PM

In Vancouver, Canada. There are a bunch of things that I can resort to like sailing, in the beautiful weather we have right now, or playing drums.

I'd be with my girlfriend too, if I had one that is.

Id say, treat the break like a practicing marathon. Practice like 5 hours a day, then when you come back from break your chops will be monsterous and youll have accomplished something!

Or just go get really ****ed up and break ****, either way.....:chug:

Janeway 03-13-2006 02:24 PM

Yay.
It's storming out.
I hope it gets really bad and breaks trees and sends the power out for the whole week. No...wait.
I hope it knocks the power out every day for a week, but it comes back on at 4:00 until 5:00 so I can watch At Home With The Braithwaites.

Loyton 03-13-2006 02:29 PM

Everybody watch this.

rockindrummer 03-13-2006 02:30 PM

Both sound like sweet plans loyton. Though i'm leaning towards the practice marathon.

rockindrummer 03-13-2006 02:34 PM

That is really messed up Loyton. Pretty sweet though.

Janeway 03-13-2006 02:36 PM

Oh.
I had thoughts today.
I really like pop music.
I like that it's catchy, I like that it doesn't make me feel like a moron, and I like that it's visually appealing as well. I don't want to see sweaty old men in leotards and crotchital spikes playing overly distorted power chords and chanting malevolent lyrics that don't make sense half the time.
And...I think that it does take talent.
The majority of musicians that perform with groups are really good, and...Gah.
I've got to do dishes. I'll post later.

styler 03-13-2006 05:15 PM

3 hours since my band was supposed to be here. nobody has heard from them.

lead guitarist and vocalist are missing after drug deal was meant to go down.

drug deal went down at 10am. its now 3:15pm. and no one has heard from vocalist or lead guitarist.

there either dead. in jail. or there just lazy bastards that are keeping me and the bassist waiting.

FL3P 03-13-2006 05:17 PM

Guitar player and singer lazy?.......or irresponsible?

NO WAY!

Janeway 03-13-2006 05:19 PM

Janeway 03-13-2006 06:30 PM

I got an accidental sex change, Jezen is no longer a urethral virgin, and the guitar forum still sucks.

I AM SO PISSED!
I got 70% of Shakalaka Baby downloaded, and then my compfroze.
I restarted, got back on, got the file to start downloading again, and the stupid user banned me. GAH!

styler 03-13-2006 06:30 PM

i was actually the only one to ask. i asked a good 4 or 5 times. where the hell did you go?

Win A Rabbit 03-13-2006 06:32 PM

edit - and i'm flattered, styler. loyton was the only one i talked to from here over the last month. he knows all about it.
