My official statement on the new Blacklisted song 'Divorced'. It is good, not as good as their other stuff but a lot better than the other hardcore out there that is their style (somewhat heavy metalic tone).

40 oz 2 freedom 08-31-2005 09:36 PM

I love it, oh so much.

Link me please?

I'm still new to hardcore and blacklisted are one of my favorite bands right now.

I hated the riff at first, but after numerous listens and learning to play it I don't mind it even though it's different.

They better still be having a rec release show here.

Let's Chop Cats! 08-31-2005 09:49 PM

I'm sure they will. One of the best bands in hardcore right now.

40 oz 2 freedom 08-31-2005 09:50 PM

Without a doubt.

I can't wait for the new BTBAM record. I downloaded Selkies: the Endless Obsession and it's been on repeat for like a week.

Alaska is going to be a must buy.

Definetly. From what I have heard, I think it's going to be better than silent circus.

victimofreality 08-31-2005 10:27 PM

Catcher in The Rye is probably my favorite book ever behind Catch-22.

I had heard from so many people about how boring it was, so I put off reading it for class, but when I started, I didn't stop until I finished.

40 oz 2 freedom 08-31-2005 10:27 PM

I've had it for awhile.

RouteOne 08-31-2005 10:28 PM

"After the first death" & "And then there were none"...where the only books from summer reading I actually enjoyed.

Other than that, I read alot on my own.

You do know now I must kill you.

Special Brew 08-31-2005 11:26 PM

Oh noes!

BuddyBigsby 08-31-2005 11:27 PM

I've had the BTBAM album for weeks, its pretty good.

s/t > Alaska > The Silent Circus

Special Brew 08-31-2005 11:29 PM

I'd go with;

Alaska > s/t > The Silent Circus

RouteOne 08-31-2005 11:31 PM

Alaska > S/T > Silent circus

Mordeci is such a good song though.

BuddyBigsby 08-31-2005 11:32 PM

There is no way possible Alaska is better than s/t. s/t is simply untouchable.

Special Brew 08-31-2005 11:39 PM

Alaska is much more technical and classicly influenced, which is probably why I prefer it.

RouteOne 08-31-2005 11:42 PM

Although I agree with you somewhat, it doesn't have the peticular sound the newer albums have that I love.

But the S/T is a masterpeice nontheless.

BuddyBigsby 08-31-2005 11:49 PM

But the songwriting is much better and much more fluid on s/t, I guess it depends on what you value more.

RouteOne 08-31-2005 11:52 PM

I just like the randomness of most of their songs. The music they play just seems mature.

CONNER_NWHC 08-31-2005 11:55 PM

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-01-2005 12:15 AM

Between The Buried And Me are great. I'm going wait until Alaska comes out. I'll hopefully see them with BDM. BTBAM were soooooo sick when I saw them.
