That's a... very weird song.
Good, but weird as hell.
Say again?
Like would we have, say, Jelle, if he lost, in the contest?

I don't get you.

ATM 03-09-2005 12:46 AM

Yea it is weird as hell, but I just thought I would share because it's something different.

ArcLite 03-09-2005 12:47 AM
Then you guys can here how bad I suck.
Heh, we can have a "Who's Worse?" competition.

Kurtz 03-09-2005 12:47 AM

Okay.

Let's say you won the contest.

You win, and Superpeer didn't. Is he [Superpeer] eligible for the March contest [if there is one]?

ATM 03-09-2005 12:50 AM

You're on.
why were you there?

were you alone?

howd you afford stuff?

if you could of had a better job then why didnt you?

just some questions
What is this, an interrogation?

I was there because i'm Arabic. I'm not Kuwaiti, but the Middle East is my region of origin. My parents made a living living in Kuwait. They made good money too.

I was not alone, I lived with my parents, and I lived there for 13 years, so I of course made friends. A few reletives lived there too.

How do you think I could afford stuff? My parents worked there and thats that.

I didn't bother for a better job because no one did. No kids worked. When you go to Mcdonalds, instead of finding struggling teenagers you'd find struggling adults, from India and Bangledash. It wasn't because they were lazy, the society was formed like this.
Yeah, I know Publix :) I mean which specific Publix in the Tampa Bay area. Not that I'm planning on stalking him or anything.
The one in Riverview, on Bloomindale. :).

Thank you bro. Yeah I am. :)

Did you notice a difference in drum sounds between my recordings? Better/worse? I think it improved a whole lot.

Well, I don't recall what your old ones sounded like so I can't compare. But I can tell you that those sound good, definitely has a good realistic sound.

Great. Thats the sound i'm trying to aim for. If i've hit it on the head, then hell yes.

I need a keyboard bad.

Keyboards add so much.

Oh I know.

Its not just effects that make me want one though, its the fact that I can play the drums back on keyboard, which is a whole lot easier than using Crapy Loops

That was that one that you posted the intro for like a month ago. Turned out great. Too much dead air time at the beginning though. Now actually play it all :) .

I'm not good to play any of the parts I wrote :(

I can play the first guitar solo, and the second at slower tempo, but no dice on the drumming.

Ramsey 03-09-2005 02:53 AM

Well, I began writing today folks! This is a sample of the song, and I mean "THE" song. :) This is the song I will be working on for a while. It will be great. http://s31.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3AQF4NXXS0WD91V5MTJHO0OY8I

Ramsey 03-09-2005 03:40 AM
could you compare yourself to a band to give me a better idea of your sound?
Haha. I don't have a "sound" dude.

I can tell you my influences though:

(in no order)
All That Remains
Necrophagist
Older In Flames
Dimmu Borigor
Cyrptopsy
Children of Bodom
Dream Theater
Dark Tranquility
Nevermore
Nightwish
Iced Earth
Arch Enemy
Arsis
Unearth
Lamb of God
Nile
Behemoth
Krisiun

And lots more...

This should give you an idea of what to expect.....

...something very mixed :p

The recording I put up isn't metal though. It gets heavier later, but I haven't recorded that part yet.

ArcLite 03-09-2005 03:43 AM
Older In Flames
I was actually gonna say that latest recording you did had a slight In Flames sound to it :thumb: .
