thats an understatement man, they were unbelievable! Hull had like the fastest one timer slap shot ever recorded or something. i remember getting an ESPN magazine and haveing like a 5 page story, just on Hulls one timer shot!

PaulSimonon 10-27-2006 11:46 AM

Have you ever seen how he shoots? It's so goofy... he doesn't shoot, he flexes the stick and it shoots for him. *shrugs* It works.

Worrpigs 10-27-2006 11:47 AM

yeah, he got these special Synergy's that were like 75 flex or something. and if you ever saw him shoot in slow motion they made like a "C" angle in his for-swing.

PaulSimonon 10-27-2006 11:48 AM

It's insanity... I couldn't even use a 75 flex when I was in squirts because there was too much flex... I use extra stiff Montreals now, switch between wood and composite depending on the situation. I have a better wrist shot with my wood stick.

i got one of the new Vectors and i love that thing. my snap shot owns our goalies now. i really like it because its pretty stiff, but its still got good whip so my slap shots get that extra little "oomph" to em.

Worrpigs 10-27-2006 11:53 AM

alright man i gotta get going, i need to pack for going to Iowa later today. ill talk to you later, peace.

PaulSimonon 10-27-2006 11:53 AM

I never got one of those because they felt too light... The Montreal composites are real heavy, which sort of defeats the purpose of having it, but meh. I like them.

Later man.

After playing a 7 string, I don't think my 4 will ever feel the same. It is so small.

Just think of all the stupid questions you are going to get from the uneducated masses.

It will be fantastic.

If I get it, no more "bass is easy because it has fewer strings than guitar".

And the inevitable comeback..............

"But Guitars have 7 strings too don't they?"

I would get the Conklin if only to shut up all the stuid comments about bass.

Efrim 10-27-2006 04:06 PM
