DUDES I'm ****in stoked.

I haven't really heard Embrace the End, and I'm not into AGATG too much, but it'd be cool to chill with Carnifex before I head out on the road with them..plus Conducting is damn solid. I don't want to miss that show at all.
|
ugh I know, Conducting is one of the best dxc bands hands down...but there's so much poop I'd have to sit through...
|
Dude, I'm pretty sure they'll be opening for all the other bands on that tour.
|
nah they're in the middle. 2 shitty local bands, Broadcasting the Nightmare, then them, then ETE, AGATG, and Carnifex
Its ok, they're in the same state as me, they'll be back (hopefully with a full length out and better bands) and I'll go then |
talking about cftg, how bad were With Passion huh?
|
The Irish Front
y/n?
i think they are good for just being in highschool but other than that meh i look forward to seeing them get older and developing their sound |
talking about cftg, how bad were With Passion huh?
I never bothered listening. |
yeah i never bothered with with passion as well
|
Anyone got the new Aborted yet? (Last album had a bit of deathcore in it)
|
yeah it's ****ing horrible
|
Anyone got the new Aborted yet? (Last album had a bit of deathcore in it)
That's because the last one sucked and the new one will be just as bad. SUCK ON IT |
aborted sucks
|
aborted used to rule
|
ya...your mom
|
Goremageddon was amazing. Even the albums after it weren't all that bad but I expect that their new effort won't be anything brilliant.
New fave deathcore of the moment has to be Annotations of An Autopsy. Before the Throne of Infection is a sick album. |
i'm listening to theis Born of Osiris now for the second time since i downloaded it because people say its good
its not |
Ah i feel your pain. I got it too because people said they were like the faceless.
whoever said that must not like the faceless very much... |
The Faceless are horrible.
|
The Faceless aren't horrible. Akeldama was awesome. The technical ability of each member greatly surpasses most bands of the genre. Aside from say, Animosity.
|
how is the faceless horrible? They destroy...not as awesome as ASP but they are really good
|

I just heard a track off of the All Shall Perish album 'The Price fo Existence' that I liked, so I guess mark them down on the decent deathcore list.
|
I still haven't gotten into ASP, are the songs on myspace a good representation of their sound? Because if not I'll jus d/l TPOE.
Also The Faceless is pretty much awesome, we've been over this. Every song has its own feel, Akeldama is one of my favorite albums because its a perfect mix of brutality, catchy riffs and breakdowns, amazing vocals, and grooviness. I <3 groove, which is why BOO and VoM are similar, but watered down in comparison. |

All Shall Perish is even worse. |
I figure I'll ask for your thread's input on this.
Deathcore: does it belong in the stickied "Essential Albums" project R&M is doing? That is, would more than one person in this thread contribute to the project, and would there be ten representative albums of the deathcore genre? More people seem to be advocating its removal rather than it belonging in the thread, so if someone wants to drop a line or two in the stickied thread and advocate for it, that would be cool. Cheers. |
Deathcore isn't worth tossing in, no. Albums can be mostly put into death metal or metalcore, it's not strong enough to include.
