I'm interested to see what Protest cook up next. After not listening to them for a few months and revisiting Fortress, it seems fresher and better than when it came out.

I'm guessing Fortress is going to be their masterpiece album, their next album won't be as good and they'll be reusing most of their ideas. They are a one trick pony and every song off Fortress sounded the same. I don't think they'll get much better honestly...and sadly, because I love Fortress and think its a great album.

I think they'll be able to progress a bit. They decided they wanted a catchy accessible song and they wrote Bloodmeat, so that shows that they can do whatever they put their minds to.
