DEP kills live and on the records. FF is good but not as good as DEP. Even if you don't like them give them merit for thier musicianship.

im not a fan of DEP but if there as good as you say they shuld get rid of all the ****ty hardcore bands and put them in altohguh if you think about it id rather see COB than DEP....

Well I think I'd rather see DEP because they should be insane live. The time signatures make the band so chaotic. They are geniuses and are avant garde if anything but some people lable them as ****ty metalcore because of the image. They are a truly chaotic band and if you like Patton type stuff you'll like that band but to some people are really unlistenable.

I don't think there are any hardcore bands on Gigantour. Most of the bands are chosen soley for their musical skill.

DEP wasn't at my show, They didn't start touring with Gigantour until the 5th, a couple of days ago. I went July 30th. Fear Factory were alright, but I would MUCH rather see COB than Fear factory.

Does anyone know why they didn't want to tour with DT? I know that Henka doesn't like prog...but that's not much of a reason.

Most of the guys in CoB hate Dream THeater. Alexi especially.

I must say I agree. They can play but their music couldn't be more boring.

Hasn't the DT Vs. CoB thing been done already? Who cares? He doesn't like a band. I'm sure they don't like tons of other bands too, as does everyone else. Turning this into a fan rivalry would be incredibly lame.

No, it's not a band rivalry thing, I like both equally, I just wanted to know why they didn't want to tour with DT. I knew something had been mentioned about that in this thread, but I didn't want to dig through it...this thread is 124 pages long.

I just think they could have gone about it better.

I read an interview with Dave about Gigantour and he said he chose bands that were heavy but still upbeat.

I actually don't like that song period. I haven't heard a single cover CoB has done that I like (excluding the new 'Oops' and Slayer's 'Silent Scream')
