10,000 posts in 1 day. Amazing.
10,000 posts in 1 day. Amazing.
Count in the fact that the Hardcore/Metalcore and Emo/Screamo threads make up 99% of that?

It's taken a lot out of the punk forum at any rate.... :(

TheNowhereman42 02-09-2005 11:30 PM

no one posts here anymore :upset:

obese_breasts 02-09-2005 11:34 PM

I know, it's sad :_(

IFlogMyMolly16 02-09-2005 11:37 PM

I'm here. Fear not. For I am good.

obese_breasts 02-09-2005 11:41 PM

YAY it's the breasted one

pedro durruti 02-09-2005 11:46 PM

I'd never ditch you guys unless there was a ska forum

Silvermedalmafia 02-09-2005 11:47 PM

It's kinda gay. I like both (ska and hardcore) but ska/reggae deserves a forum so much more.

pedro durruti 02-09-2005 11:49 PM

It ain't '96 anymore Silver. Haha when I first read that I thought you said "I'm kind of gay."

Silvermedalmafia 02-09-2005 11:50 PM

whats so big about '96?

obese_breasts 02-09-2005 11:50 PM

True if it were 96 there would have been a ska forum from the beginning

pedro durruti 02-09-2005 11:52 PM

That's when "ska" was mainstream yo! Maybe I should have referred to the two tone era, or the olden days of Jamaica

TheNowhereman42 02-09-2005 11:53 PM

thats when we had poser ska bands

TheNowhereman42 02-09-2005 11:53 PM

you know somethings mainstream when it has posers

TheNowhereman42 02-09-2005 11:55 PM

I think eventually Harcore will have so many more posters punk will become a subforum of it

pedro durruti 02-09-2005 11:56 PM

Let's boycott and prevent as many people as we can from going into it

TheNowhereman42 02-09-2005 11:57 PM

haha ok

*goes off to delete those posts he made in the HORSE the band thread*

Silvermedalmafia 02-09-2005 11:57 PM

Well, I actually like hardcore (I know, cardinal sin). I just disagree with the creation of so many subforums. To me it's stupid.

pedro durruti 02-09-2005 11:59 PM

AT least they have to go through us to get to their place. It'd be nice if they could wipe their feet first...

TheNowhereman42 02-09-2005 11:59 PM

I think the political forum is the only one that really has a valid existance, because otherwise political threads would get the hell spammed out of them by pitgoers

I like the sports forum, I am in there quite often. I also think its good to have the videogames/books/movies forum.

TheNowhereman42 02-10-2005 12:04 AM

oh yeah, thats books/movies now too, I thought it was still just video games

SactoUnited 02-10-2005 01:24 AM

I think we should have the following forums:
1st wave, 2nd wave, oi forum (skinhead forum)
3rd wave
put the emo in pop punk
keep punk as it is

honkybrewster 02-10-2005 01:28 AM

Let's not get carried away with the subforums.

SactoUnited 02-10-2005 01:29 AM
Let's not get carried away with the subforums.
Youre probably right but still. Why did hxc/emo get a subforum and not ska?

honkybrewster 02-10-2005 01:38 AM
Youre probably right but still. Why did hxc/emo get a subforum and not ska?
That's a good question. I guess the regulars to the Hardcore/Metalcore Education thread deserved their own forum. 10,000 posts in the new forum in less than a day has to mean something.

Sid 02-10-2005 01:40 AM

They moved the Hardcore/Metalcore Education thread there as the community thread. That's how they have so many posts. It has 8000+ posts.

And that Emo/screamo community thread is a thread from last August I think. It's over a 1000 posts.

SactoUnited 02-10-2005 01:41 AM

I dont mean to keep complaining but why did emo get mixed with hxc and why isnt it a sub forum of pop punk?

SlappedByTheClash 02-10-2005 06:59 AM

If you guys want a good Ska site, go to skafreaksonline.com and register there.

They've got like 1065 free mp3s for members, so those of you without slsk can get your ska fill.

They got forums too, but they suck.

Originally, emo was closely related to hardcore, the term has just been thrown around so much recently that everyone associates it with pop punk.

I think there's some stuff about it in one of their community threads.
