"Cluster headache is probably the worst pain that humans experience. I know that’s quite a strong remark to make, but if you ask a cluster headache patient if they’ve had a worse experience, they’ll universally say they haven't. Women with cluster headache will tell you that an attack is worse than giving birth. So you can imagine that these people give birth without anesthetic once or twice a day, for six, eight, or ten weeks at a time, and then have a break. It's just awful."
"Our patients were disabled by the disorder and suffered from bouts of pain from two to twenty times a week. They had found no relief from the usual methods of treatment. Their pain was so severe that several of them had to be constantly watched for fear of suicide. Most of them were willing to submit to any operation which might bring relief." Thus, cluster headaches are also known by the nickname "suicide headaches". |
are they actual cluster headaches or do you just get migraines?
both |
i dont believe you :)
|
aight dawg
|
seriously though were you diagnosed with clusters? or are you just a guy who gets headaches often.. cuz its definitely not the same thing. The pain is always focused on one side of the head and is usually rooted directly behind one of your eyeballs. Feels like your eye is being dug/scooped out of the top of your head. It will usually cause that eye to intensely water as well as the nostril on that side of your face.
The second link is someone going through a cluster attack and has to be administered pure oxygen. http://youtu.be/xCb_BPBh5dQ http://youtu.be/UzpcPeoPnW0 |
dude ive been getting them since i was 12 or 13 i know what they are and what they feel like
|
yeah alright
