my current gaming setup

bought the xbox years ago and got it modded, the DVD drive is fucked. bought everything else recently, the gamecube for $40, after that the wii and all its peripherals off a friend for $100, and a barely used PS2 on ebay for $70

Ugh I want to play Earthworm Jim 2 so bad

I have a SEGA genesis, SNES, PS1, PS2, and a broken 360 (surprise surprise)

i was never SUPER bad, but i think i was worse off. i used to get pretty bad obsessions, like almost every time i was in a moving car i would get urges to unlock the doors and open them. i don't get that anymore but i still get similar stuff sometimes, not as extreme though.

played a show in philly tonight, was awesome

i'm in the middle of a game of sonic 2 lol how predictable. you have to get 7 chaos emeralds in that game by getting fifty rings and jumping through a post to get to a mini stage. then you have to do a mini game where you grab a certain number of rings that gets higher and high while avoiding bombs that take away your rings while the amount you need gets higher and higher. if you don't have enough rings you get kicked out but if you get through all three rounds you get one of seven chaos emeralds. once you get all seven you can turn into super sonic. who is invincible and twice as fast but he uses 1 ring a second to maintain that form and you must have 50 rings to become it.

it usually takes me until almost the end of the game to get all the emeralds but this time i got them all in the first two stages which is by far the earliest i've ever gotten them. i'm 3 levels from the last level.

those mini-games are a pain in the ass

only ever got super sonic once

my big controller for it broke though so I have to use a tiny one. the big one had a joystick, was way better.
