Hey 'Tender. Nice to have you back.

Jom - Sounds like a pretty decent deal. I saw the pictures and looks more pleasant than a dorm.

Minor Threat rocks, gotta love them.
Yah, 'tis.

I've found a new faverouite pastime : Bashing Americans on Halo 2. It is so much fun!
Halo blows.

Keep FPS on the PC where it belongs

I agree, I hate halo

Illmatic 09-01-2005 12:46 PM

Peter: It's much, much more pleasant than a dorm :upset:

Bart: Florida? Bleh...I hope you went fishing in the Keys, because that's the only good part of Florida. You should have gone to New York or Chicago or Boston or something.

Also, Green River won't work on my laptop for some reason :-\

EDIT: Meh, I like Halo and I prefer FPS on game systems because I don't have to run out and buy new upgrades for XBox when the newest games come out

Well we have a house in Florida, and friends and relatives (and a history, of sorts), so it makes more sense to go there. I like it there, though only as somewhere for a holiday. I definitely wouldn't like to live there. Anyway, I picked up your namesake album whilst there, for cheap.

Jom - sounds much better than last year, then. But then I wonder, why aren't you happy?

You've got me wondering who I'll be living with next year now, too.

Permanent Solution 09-01-2005 01:06 PM

Whoa, Bartender is back

/me is too lazy to read back too far, but gathers your vacation went well. Very cool.

Welcome back dude. :)

Yeah, going to Florida WOULD make sense.

And gasp, we know something about your personal life!

The controls on an xbox are much more awkward than a keyboard and mouse, and you have less options for movement, aiming, and overall customisability (yes i just made that word up).

I mean when i play CS for example, i need to use over half my keyboard, but on an xbox controller there are only a very limited amount of buttons

I agree, i would never in a million years ever want to live in florida either.

I've never really had a problem with the controls on XBox, but then again I've never really played games on the PC with the exception of the old NBA Live and Triple Play games (and the PC controls SUCKED, give me an XBox controller any day plz)

ATM 09-01-2005 01:13 PM

I prefer playing games on the PC mainly because I don't have Xbox live, and I like playing games online.

Illmatic 09-01-2005 01:16 PM

I prefer the "old fashioned" head-to-head multiplayer...I've played Madden and SOCOM online, and it was pretty gay.

Maybe once I am in a dorm with other students, I will play more head to head. But since I live at home, it is easier for me to play games online.

That's harsh...

But in the mean time, have fun being killed in two seconds by 14 year olds who play 8 hours a day.

Arrakakaka 09-01-2005 01:25 PM

37 pages of homework in adv. math, odd problems only. Every time I'm in that class, I feel like I'm in some kind of purgatory.

The problem with that is that Halo 2 is not a '1 shot kill, realism' fps. With games like that (CS, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon) you NEED a keyboard for them to work, but with Halo 2 the xbox controller suits the game just fine.

I've been playing it more because everyone has headsets, so its alot easier to communicate and attack etc. Its also really frantic and crazy.

Quite a few people have headsets on PC FPS games now as well.

I see that 'Tender has returned.

And this probably horribly late.

Sheesh...I couldn't even remember how to spell probably. I think I'm brain dead :-/

I wasn't questioning your ability/technique to post, more so the content of your post and how you could possibly bring yourself to post it.

I think, my brain isn't working too well. These are worrying times.

That's my 3 post limit for this thread. I believe I shall go and die.

Drink, smoke, listen to music?

"I engage in the art of consuming alchohol (within reasonable limits, of course). Alchohol was invented by yada yada yada..."

Try to word it all exquisitely. :p

damn, I killed AL.

Kingofdudes 09-01-2005 02:02 PM

Well I found out that half of my school is now gone due to the hurricane. I am either going to have to wait a few months till I can go back to school, or my dad is considering sending me and my brothers to Utah to go to school till our school is rebuilt.

Lord Abortion 09-01-2005 02:03 PM

uh, apart from the smoking and most of the drinking, maybe

That would suck if you have to go to school somewhere else, I know I wouldn't like it anyway.

Yeah, ive been going to different schools all my life, and I dont want to be doing this now, in the middle of my Senior year. This hurricane is ruining my life :(

Has anyone talked to RCA lately? I think his power is out too.

superpeer 09-01-2005 02:16 PM

I thought I saw him not too long ago, but I'm not sure.
