do you dig sts9 or umphrey's matt?

i wish i was candyflipping but i do have rolls so it will still be fun i'm sure

i haven't heard either of em. but i have friends who told me to listen to umphreys before.

umphrey's is like the poor man's phish, but they put on a great show, their guitarists can ****ing shred. sts9 is my favorite of all the aforementioned, they are more beat/hip hop oriented, more so than lotus. but yeah dude, rolls will be perfect for lotus, they get the best grooves going and fantastic buildups

dude i can't stand sts9 at all.

i remember that for a moment i thought they were kind of cool from a electronica/noise kind of way, but yeah its not my thing. i think i dislike the people who talk about that band around here more than anything though, it's all the lame bonnaroo neo-stoner kids acting like deadheads about this band.

yeah my friend from alabama is suuuuuper into them, saw them like 4 nights in a row for new years, rolled every night, im sure about half of his brain is gone by now. im not [I]that[/I] into them but they do put on a great show, have you ever seen them?

their live show is seriously the best environment for tripping
