My parents just informed me that I can get any effect pedal I want or Christmas. :eek: Of course, the more expensive it is the fewer things I'll get, but I'm not worried about that.

Now to figure out what kind of wah pedal to get...

DIMEBAG CRYBABY!!! Don't get the Zakk Wylde, it's bongo-sounding. Don't get the Weeping Demon, it's hard to turn on and off. Don't get the Jimi Hendrix, it's also bongo-sounding.

good morning all.
I just had a big test on school.
and I'm free now, no school tomorrow, whcih means that:
I'll be visiting a friend somewhere, we'll have a roomwarming party, and we'll drink a massive amount of beer :)

tomorrow I'll be back and have band practice, friday a helloween party (yes again :p, I can't get enough of it) and on saterday another free drinking party.

I already have pity with my liver :(

I'd advise going to Shooters, Jonny boy. Easy girls there and you get chicks on stage dancing about with barely anything on. Can't say fairer than that.

All are awesome. Plus, the Into Eternity/Nevermore/Opeth show starts in about eight hours and I'm pumped.

Having heard no Ulver before this (apparently they were once the black metal-est of the black metallers) I like it quite a lot. It was something outside of what I was expecting since I've heard Ulver mentioned as a band of that ilk, rather than the kind of apocalyptic keyboard-driven stuff they're playing on this one.

Who handles vocals on Blood Inside? With the production the way it is it sounds almost like Maynard.

And if you haven't picked up that Ozric Tentacles album, do so. It's fantastic.

I just meant I'm not sure how much I like it. Sometimes it sounds like genius, and sometimes it sounds like a bit of a mess.

Garm is the main guy behind Ulver, though I think on the later electronic-ish albums (this one and [i]Perdition City[/i]) he goes by the name of Trickster G. He was also formerly Arcturus and Borknagar's vocalist.

Right, I read that at some point. Kind of neat. I especially like his alter-ego name. It sounds like a play on a hip-hop DJ's name.
