I wish they'd play all the songs in their entirities rather than sticking them in a medley.
I agree a little bit, like on Live Sh*t I thought they should have put Blackened on it's own and not in a medley. |
Congrats buddy.
Have you guys heard the RTL/KEA medly?
yeah, that thing is orgasmic. I forgot to mention motorbreath earlier when talking about tracks on Kill 'em All. just been playing that on guitar.....it tires my hands out. |
I can never play Motorbreath, the tab seems to play differently from what I hear.
|

yeah I know what you mean. I don't play it to the tab though, I kinda adapted it in my head. |

On all the Metallica concerts i heard...Live Sh!t, some i downloaded and one i went to they always start the first song with Blackened or Enter Sandman. Personally Blackened owns Enter Sandman but there both good tunes. at the Metallica concert i went to november 2004 i thoguht for sure they would start with Enter Sandman but they played Blackened. But it was fukin lame caus ei passed out 15 min before the concert!!!! I wasn'y even drunk or on drugs. i dont knowwhy i passed out but they had to take me to the medical station an di mised the fukin first song. was pissed. Not to mention i was front row in the pit!!! W#$@$@# |
I haven't heard the one from Cunning Stunts, but there is a KEA/RTL medley on a '94 concert from www.livemetallica.com its pretty aswesome.
That's the one I was refering to. It's awsome |

Yea have you done stuff like that before?
When I was moshin I got the crud beat outta me! it was the best day of my life! |
I refrain from moshing. I always get hit in the nose or some fat guy twice the size of me picks on me.
|
is that the medley from cunning stunts? yeh live **** is awesome except for the modified version of master of puppets.
I came close to buying Cunning Stunts (hey try reversing the st and c and you'd have a name for a p*rno:lol: ) but I was short. Apparently the guy wanted to have that extra .25. |
I was in S.A so there were tons of huge hispanic guys just beating it
out of me. My dad was like "What happened to you?" "and why is everyone wearing black?" |

I thought Metallica's moshpits were bad. Then I went to see Slayer.
|
Yep, Live Sh!t is great
Im not sure if it was that but i saw a Metallica dvd for like 100 dollars. Thats expeniseve... The store was overpricing their stuff though ....
Have you guys heard the RTL/KEA medly?
Yeah I heard it on Cunning Stunts...Its pretty good. I like that dvd a lot but its the only Metallica one i own. |
I thought Metallica's moshpits were bad. Then I went to see Slayer.
Yeah, i would never go in a slayer concert. I heard theres always an ambulance or 2 at their shows. Sry for double post... |
Did you get pushed around a lot though ?
.....that sounds like most metal gigs.
Yeah but, i wouldnt feel like .. not comfartable in all bands ide go see. I mean yes you do have to be careful in most concerts but some are like not preventable... like for sure theres gunna be a fight or something. |
Did you get pushed around a lot though ?
Yea have you done stuff like that before?
When I was moshin I got the crud beat outta me! it was the best day of my life!
Well i havn't been to a metal concert liek that. And also i didnt eat for like 8 hours before the concert, was standing up for like 5 hours(watched Godsmack open, was sick) and there was plenty of weed aroudn me to get me contact high was fun besides passign out..especially since they drug me into a puddle....still dont kno what that pudle was.....dont want to...;/ |
They had a couple ambulances last metallica concert i went to
|
The Iron Maiden mosh when I saw them was incredible, but that was a fun mosh not a particuarly violent one. SOAD on the other hand was pretty violent, and I saw Marrilyn Manson when he played at Reading Festival...he wasnt that great but the mosh was vicious.
|
I was trying to learnt the ride the lightining solo the other day. It is imo the hardest metallica solo out there
id have to disagree with you on this one man, it is actually quite easy its like most the other solos kirk does. |
Didn't hetfield do the RtL solo. I know that he did like 2 from that album and I think that's one of them. Kirk's solos have a similar pattern and if you can do the pattern you can do all his solos. but Mustaine...

at Leeds, there was no mosh near me when manson was on, i was 2nd row, and we just couldn't move. freed up a bit into maiden though. first ever gig was maiden at a smaller venue, and that was a pretty good mosh. i was only...15 at the time as well, and about 5'4"! i want to see metallica next year, if the rumours about them doing download are true. |
Did you get pushed around a lot though ?
Ide hate going to a concert and always looking behind youre back incase somone is lke pushing you or something.
When i went to see Dragonforce, as soon as the song 'Blackfire' kicked in the crowed just flew forward it took half the song to ragain your balance. But there is always nice people in moshpits that pick you up if you fall down, unfortunatly there are also idiots who just want to hurt people:angry: |

there whole of the middle was just a big violent mosh at reading for manson. The maiden mosh was so good though because there was so much space and it wasnt a bunch of emos who dont know any moshing etiquette. |

heh, when Incubus were on all the emo and goth kids appeared, then disappeared when they finished  i thought manson was pretty good, and obviously maiden were awesome. |
