I agree. I'd listen to the Blackening, the new Clutch is great as always, but it didn't hit me as hard as their earlier stuff.

Well, I still don't interpret that as "silly" by any means, but I guess we define it differently. Obviously he takes him music seriously, which is how his genre of music should composed.

And I personally believe he puts on a serious, authentic image when it's needed, and it just so happens represeting Nostatus with that picture is a time for maturity and seriousness.

I must say I wasn't particularly taken by the new Clutch at first, the production seemed odd, with the drums really low and the vocals at a funny range. I've definitely gotten more into it though, it's really grown on me. I almost agree with everyone that it is their best yet, even if I do have to skip the first track in order to get into it =[

That's the one with strange production if memory serves, but I've since heard it live twice and it pwns :cool: I'll definitely give it another go

I'm now of the opinion that both albums are the best of the year so far :D I can't imagine much coming up that can top them, though qotsa are supposed to have gone all kyussy again with the new one ... =o
