Jeez, I'm steamed. For the first 3/4 of chemistry I had good teacher, gave me level 4 (that's 80-100%) on all my papers. Now, the regular teacher for the course is back from maternity leave, and she's a real nitpicking bitch. Gives me level 2 or 3 (60-80%) for the tiniest little mistakes. I hope she has another baby or something so she'll go back home.

whats the hardest metallica solo that u can play? lol mine is ride the lightning, the thing is harder than hell to play

the ride the lightning solod doesn't sound too hard. the hardest solo i can play is the master of puppets solo, with slight varations ;)

i can't seem to find any website that has the actual correct solo and it's pissing me off. so can some one help

afraid not. though its probably based on an E scale, seeing how just about every kill em all solo is. just a guess.

i think pentatonic scales are used a lot by metallica/slayer, countless other probably too

ya theyre pretty much the main scale. hell, just look at zakk wylde.

Four Horsemen is a piss easy solo ( both ).

its just improvising up and down different parts of the scale, with licks and what not ^^

although this album sucks major ball sack load and reload were alright but master of puppets was there greatest album ever. the solos kicked the most *** on that album too. :naughty:

some of these solos are insane and every time i look at them i just say hell no ill never be able to play that. but i guess its just me since im just starting to learn how to play solos

Is it just me who gets annoyed when people scream sell-out at bands who change their sound? Its not selling out its the artist doing what they want to do, selling out would be doing what everyone wants to hear tied in a creative straight jacket. (this is aimed at no one in particular)
