I have a feeling I'm going to be extremely disappointed.

Wow dude, you really, really are. You have to want to help people and really have the urge to be a doctor. My friend has that drive and she loves it, but so many people drop out. And you have to pass the interview (if there is one) and the people interviewing you will be able to pick up on any hesitation or lack of motivation like that.

I could never be a medic because I'm such an engineer. Besides, I suck at memorizing stuff.
