I love Zeppelin, but I have a feeling most people in here won't want to talk about them, but we really don't bring them up that often, especially compared to the Allmans :lol: . Plus it's a new fad for some people to not like Led Zeppelin.

The Zeppelin Dvd is amazing though.

They are the reason that I first got into classic rock, so it's hard for them not be my favorite band. I think people judge them too much, like saying Clapton(or whoever) is so much better than Jimmy Page. I would agree with that but Jimmy never said he was the best guitarist ever, and Zep still made great music. No one in their band is the best, and people shouldn't say they are, but they are all pretty **** good.

I used to worship Zeppelin but then I realized that there is so much more out there like the Doors, CSN&Y, Beatles, Who, and the Grateful Dead.

same here. after led zeppelin i went into a lot of yardbirds though. possibly because it had page, clapton, and beck.

What is your favorite Zeppelin album? I think IV is overrated kind of, just because people look past all their other stuff just for Stairway to Heaven(I hate this **** song). Zeppelin I is probably my favorite.

Black mountain side is a very good song. The entire first album is very good in my opinion.

They Borrowed music, but almost all the time they credited the Blues musicians for writing the songs, except for a few times. Why can't you just let the music be good?

Willie Dixon sued Zeppelin in the mid-80's because Whole Lotta Love was a knockoff of his song, "You Need Love." That was one of the few times he wasn't given credit for writing the songs.

Yea seriously, people cover music all the time, but if Led Zeppelin does it, that makes them less of a band? That seems like a really far reach for a reason to dislike Zeppelin.
