how is that even close? I fail to see how Lamb of God is metalcore. Sure they have breakdowns, but they aren't even remotely close to being a metalcore band, just like they aren't remotely close to being death metal. They ARE a little close to thrash, only cause they know how to rip off Testament well (:p). But still. I just consider them metal. Nothing else.

hah, that's a rough start as well. I can't remember what my very very first song was, but I think it may have been something from Morbid Angel's Gateways. I don't even like that album anymore.

If not, it was something by Cryptopsy or Death, those were the other bands I started with.
