I've spoken to many convicts, actually. It's moving, really. They aren't mindless sick, and depraved killers. They're human beings...they're being tortured on a daily basis for experiancing and acting out a human condition-the will to kill.

They don't want to "get out." Most of the murderers I've spoken to just want somebody to know they're not horrible people.

Tryxx 10-16-2005 09:43 PM

I think people should be able to have guns if they can pass an IQ/Common Sense test. I've gone hunting many times, guns should be taken away from my family.

I'm against abortion, but I'm for killing babies. (Thank you Maddox)
I disagree with the idea of 'politicians' in the first place.
like i said earlier, humans will degenerate ( in a quick series of actions imo) slowy int othe only form of government that works, anarchy. now, im no anarchist, but the fact of the matter is that EVERYONE has different views. and no elected offcial can share the veiws of every person. natually, one party will come into power and ruin it for the rest. they will become to powerful, revolution will take place, and it will start again.

Cil 10-16-2005 09:44 PM

I'm actually supposed to be getting a letter from one of them soon. His name is Eric-he's serving a life sentence for killing his wife, after his wife threatened to kill his son, who is now parentless.

I'm going to have to give you a big 123 on this one.

Dave: Yes I am.

Cil: I just want you to know...I have never...EVER...had more respect for you than I do right now. I know you probably don't care, but I wanna let you know that...we have very similar political views.

It's just...it's sad. We could very well be one day arrested for practicing the rights granted by our constitution's amendments.

I'm sorry, this has nothing to do with our other argument, but that's ridiculous. There's no way you can justify murder with saying it's how someone was born. They can choose what they do, and if they choose to kill someone they know the consequences. I don't have a problem with the rest of your statement...most of them probably aren't horrible people...but that is just idiotic.

I can ban, unban, edit polls, moderate in every forum, check status of banned users, know every user that is online and what thread/forum they're viewing, edit posts in every forum, change thread titles in every forum...it's pretty cool.

i agree, instutionalization is pointless and expensive. imagine all the people who could be helped if prisons didnt exsist. sadly, im not smart enough to come up with a better system, but i think its evident that prisons are rediculasly detrimental to society.

Cil 10-16-2005 09:47 PM

I enjoy how republican's speak of people as if they're not people, but "members of society."

They have the audacity to accuse me of being a horrible person because I watch gangbang videos and play Resident Evil.

But, they're good people-because they send people to their death in a political war for a facist, criminal president.

But, they're good people because they lock away these desperate, miserable people. These people who have run out of options, and want more than anything to just have another way out, and a life free of the negativity that made them "act out."
Exactly.

Sheehan = Speed
Wooten = Shrooms (either insane or really smooth)
Flea = heroin

etc.

I think flea = meth would be more accurate.

myung would be some kind of designer drug

Aston Barrett would have to be marijuana

Sheehan would be coke, I think

Justin Chancellor would be DMT

Les Claypool would be mushrooms

I cant figure someone out for acid...

Fair enough...my reasoning behind my pro-gun views is that if our government does one day become something that is no longer for the majority (as it should be) and is oppressive and evil, it's the only possible chance we'd concievably have to fight back.

I'm not saying it's how somebody was born. Murder is a natural human instinct, it's the third layer of our cerebral cortex. Some people practice more control over said cerebrum.

Take a psychology class, or a physiology class before you attempt to throw your morals at me.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
The founding fathers were brilliant men...do you think they meant to say any idiot could grab a gun? No! It's meant for state militia! People just twist it to justify guns.

I hate gun laws here...guns need to be made illegal. Look at Britain; even police offers don't have guns there and that nation is thriving.

Every human is capable of murder. 90% of the time, murder is necessary. Locking people away? They're not a danger to society.

The columbine kids. You want to know who the danger to society is? Those pricks who threw glass at them every day. The "innocent bystanders" who consistantly demean and for no reason other than self appeasement torture these people. THEY are the danger. THEY are the ones to lock away.

Makes sense. People have the right to own guns. :thumb:

I just don't think I'd want to give a gun to ever person, like any privallege someone will abuse it. It's a fact. Of course, all laws are based on some form of idelologies.

Hey, US gov't-how about locking away your president? Sure, he didn't watch a fantasy of a woman sexing a dog, but he kills innocent animals...for fun.

Sick man, he is.

I don't have religion, I have faith. I believe what I see, and I do what I think is right.

Humans are also thinking, sentient beings that can grasp right and wrong. They know what they're doing...there are extenuating circumstances, of course...you can kill someone without murdering them, if that makes any sense...that Eric guy Cil was talking about sounded like one.

Tryxx 10-16-2005 09:54 PM

I don't want to judge people. We shouldn't judge people, people are SIMPLY people. There is no one above the rest, we should just be able to be. That's not always pretty, but it's us.

I'll ignore that you "believe what you see" and claim to be Christian, a faith that demands you believe what you DO NOT see, i.e., your God.

I'm not trying to change your beliefs, but come on, now. :p

I respect your opinion and stuff, I just completely disagree with it.

ANYWAY, yes, Dave, it's time for bed...

i dont like the fact that some one can just kill a person for steping on his shoe with a gun. before guns, people would not kill other for no reason. it takes ballsto kill someone with a rock. you right there blood splatering all over you. with a gun, your homie drives while you shoot, you dont acually have to deal with the result, you just hear about it on the evening news.
