CombatRock 05-15-2005 03:52 PM

big house.

im going to make my 3000 post in this thread!

Coma_Girl 05-15-2005 04:00 PM

my english teacher told me that in rock the casbah, when it says "rock the casbah" you can also hear "block the task force", i dont remember exactly what the task force is, but it has to do with England who wants to get an island back so they send the task force. Joe probably knows what it is anyway.

CombatRock 05-15-2005 05:13 PM

has your english teacher ever seen the clash or met joe anything like that?

sketchyjoe 05-15-2005 05:20 PM

My uncle saw The Clash.

CombatRock 05-15-2005 05:27 PM

were at. when. did he love it?!

sketchyjoe 05-15-2005 05:28 PM

Dunno where. Early 80s I think. He said they were good.

Jessizzle 05-15-2005 05:33 PM

My Aunt saw DK in the 80s

i hope they were good...how could the clash suck?

sketchyjoe 05-15-2005 05:38 PM

Everyone has an off-day.

Coma_Girl 05-15-2005 05:42 PM
Everyone has an off-day.
even in off-days i'm sure they were better than any other band.

sketchyjoe 05-15-2005 06:20 PM
how could the clash suck?
Not every Clash song is good and I'm sure not every one of their live performances was either. There are many bands I'd have preferred to see than The Clash.

their songs are not ALL good, but the good ones are the best songs ever -for me

guns_of_brixton 05-15-2005 07:00 PM

Even if the Clash weren't perfect live, they still had alot of energy and stuff.

Actually. I'm not even sure if thats is what you guys are talking about, because my computer had been buttfucked with spyware and viruses and its too slow for me to gou back pages :(.
