WATCH THE VIDEO AND LAUGH AT HIS REDNECK ASS

Lazybassplr56 01-10-2006 11:03 PM

Ya that's pretty bad. How could I ever get him mixed up with Aesop Rock.

NewKindofArmy03 01-10-2006 11:04 PM

Jay-Z feat. Eminem-Renegade is my jam.

shane italian 01-10-2006 11:04 PM

Also I thought I would add that LA is harder than NYC

It's debatable, it's not like either of us would really know

NewKindofArmy03 01-10-2006 11:08 PM

That freestyle sucked. I don't get why he is so big.

shane italian 01-10-2006 11:08 PM
It's debatable, it's not like either of us would really know
I've been to NYC a fair shair of times, so I could make somewhat of a judgement.

And the fact that NYC is one of the safer cities and LA is one of the more dangerous ones kind of adds to the whole hard factor.

Oh and Sage Francis is an idiot and I hope a real rapper comes and beats his a'ss.

TYLER_SRSLY 01-10-2006 11:09 PM

I NEVER WANNA....EAT......MEAT....

Lazybassplr56 01-10-2006 11:11 PM

I feel bad for even bringing up his name. Never speak of Sage Francis on these boards ever again!!!!

TYLER_SRSLY 01-10-2006 11:12 PM

Pat, go on slsk dood

Lazybassplr56 01-10-2006 11:15 PM

Is Dangerdoom any good? I've heard the name but not the music.

shane italian 01-10-2006 11:16 PM

But the Roots > all the aforementioned.

TYLER_SRSLY 01-10-2006 11:17 PM

Deltron 3030 is great.

TakeWarning 01-10-2006 11:23 PM

Yeah Shai Hulud's version of Linoleum is pretty good.

shane italian 01-10-2006 11:24 PM

Obviously Sinking Ships' Pearl Jam covers.

-TheGlassPrison- 01-10-2006 11:25 PM

Anyone else's forums just randomly become REALLY slow.

fukk.

Are you serious or am I just gullible?

Feel The Darkness 01-10-2006 11:26 PM

Accept the Blame from San Antonio do a nice cover of Linoleum.

Oh, and Five Families does a Bone Thugs cover.
Deltron3030>De la Soul>Jedi Mind Tricks>Sage Francis
I agree, although De la Soul is excellent

I don't even like considering Sage Francis a part of hip-hop.

Lazybassplr56 01-10-2006 11:35 PM

No more of that man. He is deleated off these boards.

Lazybassplr56 01-10-2006 11:36 PM

To Sage Francis.

Feel The Darkness 01-10-2006 11:44 PM
WHATTT. Please tell me it's "Crossroads." Could you IM me both of those at DFelon204409? Or I'm on slsk under the same name.
I have neither on my PC. The song that Five Fams does is For the Love of Money. I wish it was Crossroads. They haven't recorded it yet, though. It's gonna be on their upcoming EP. When I get it, I'll send it to those who want it.

I'm waiting for chopped and screwed to catch on. I realize the forums are just catching on to rap and are in the 'intellectual' phase of it, but ****, once they get Slim Thug's Already Platinum, that blows everything out of the water.

(I still love Aesop Rock and Del and Jedi and Binary Star and Talib and all that, but mang, I love being hit by the mollasses [sp?])

TakeWarning 01-10-2006 11:49 PM

NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SSSPPPPPIIIRIIIIIIITTTTTTUUAALLLL SSSSSUUUUUUUUREEEENNNNDDDDDEEEEEEERRRRRR

Best song ever.

TYLER_SRSLY 01-10-2006 11:50 PM

Inside Out were so fucking great, they'd be legendary if they released some more music. Their unreleased songs are amazing.

Being from TX, everyone in our hc scene loves that chopped and screwed bullshit, but I honestly can't stand it. I think it all sucks. I'll stick to the "intellectual" stuff, thank you.

Oh, and I'm no where near barely catching on to hip-hop, and the only good rap was old school gangsta rap.

Death row is the label that paays me.

TakeWarning 01-10-2006 11:56 PM

I reckon Inside Out might be better than RATM if they'd released more music.

I feel sorry for you. Seriously, chopped and screwed stuff is the worst. Its like having a retard DJ and repeat and slow down ****. Check out Brotha Lynch Hung. I'll send you some this week J.

SactoUnited 01-11-2006 12:25 AM

Basically these southern rappers rerelease their album and make it sound slower and add ****ty noises to it etc. Its basically just a way to make more money.

TakeWarning 01-11-2006 12:26 AM

I'm in a hip-hop group called G-Clamp and The Special Sauce.

50 ain't got nothing on G-Clamp.
Best hardcore song of all time not originally hardcore?

Shai Hulud - "Linoleum"

I think it would be the best if they didn't lift the breakdown from "Hardly" and put it at the end of the song.
their cover of anesthesia was better I think.

I saw countdown to life, and they covered Bob. It may have sucked, but I was so stoked I wouldn't have noticed.

TakeWarning 01-11-2006 12:39 AM

I love NOFX. Most of their stuff anyway.

Feel The Darkness 01-11-2006 01:02 AM
As in Mike Jones and the other Houston rappers?
exactly. it's a houston thing, so TXHC is all over it, and it's soo annoying.

I'll stick to jamming out to Hellhammer and Mercyful Fate.

:naughty:

Not just Houston rappers do it though. Three 6 Mafia did one, Paul Wall, etc. And on that note, Paul Wall chopped and screwed a Transplants album.

TakeWarning 01-11-2006 02:50 AM

I hate The Transplants so much.

The knowledge that they exist is a burden upon my soul.

StandingStill 01-11-2006 03:22 AM

I doubt any of you care, but Beecher split up.

Mercyful Fate own. But Hellhammer Celtic Frost puts Hellhammer to shame since all Hellhammer was doing was ripping off of Venom.
