Dimmu Burger 12-08-2009 01:35 PM

Jaundice 12-08-2009 02:09 PM

anything you can get without a prescription is placebo really

except maybe when they market Benadryl as sleeping pills, that stuff really does make you tired.

beans 12-08-2009 02:13 PM

it just plain knocks me out, cant take that stuff

Jaundice 12-08-2009 02:19 PM

nah lots of OTC meds do what they're supposed to do

hell, ibuprofen or aspirin kill pain WAY more than prescription painkillers. All opiates do is get you high and make you not care about the pain

AA-12 12-08-2009 02:41 PM

@mitch: what are you upto today

illmitch 12-08-2009 02:43 PM

n2m, had class, probably gonna head to work pretty soon

RetiredAt21 12-08-2009 02:51 PM

i've only ever taken them for headaches when i was younger, and i could never really convince myself with certainty that it was the aspirin making it go away. it seemed like in the same amount of time it could have gone away naturally and i wouldn't know the difference.

where do you work mitch ?

illmitch 12-08-2009 02:53 PM

im an assistant piano teacher

Jaundice 12-08-2009 02:54 PM

BLASPHEMYOGAPHER 12-08-2009 02:55 PM

RetiredAt21 12-08-2009 02:56 PM

Jaundice 12-08-2009 03:03 PM

about to take a shower

then imma head to guitar center and get some Ernie Ball strings, and probably piss people off playing really elementary riffs on $4000 guitars for a while

illmitch 12-08-2009 03:04 PM

if you play anything other than weezer songs i will be very disappointed

chrisbarnesfacialbongscar 12-08-2009 03:04 PM

Pick up the most expensive guitar. Play a breakdown.

Moon Flavor 12-08-2009 03:08 PM
Pick up the most expensive guitar. Play a breakdown.
Perfectly describes my friend every time we go there.

Of course he hates breakdowns but he loves pissing people off and has been known to get kicked out for playing the same breakdown for over a half hour.

Tyler 12-08-2009 03:10 PM

At the big guitar shop in Toronto (like, the most popular one), there's a sales guy who will literally walk up and take the guitar from you if you play Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Moon Flavor 12-08-2009 03:12 PM

Ya know I've been watching the next generation a lot lately when I can't sleep at 4 in the morning.

It's a good show

Jaundice 12-08-2009 03:29 PM
if you play anything other than weezer songs i will be very disappointed
lol, i know maybe like four Weezer riffs.

Say it Ain't So, No one else, Beverly Hills, Only in Dreams. Only the really basic three chord **** you can learn by ear with out trying.

oh wait that describes every weezer song
