Yeah so my sister is up in her room now listening to "I want you back" by the Backstreet Boys. She is 16 years old. :/

Max- I thought it was diamond in the rough
Ollie- I did know that, actually. Max again- I bet she chats with her friends saying "omg, my bruvver iz lisenin' 2 sum hardcor muzik, icky!" |
**** bro, I hope everything is ok. The important thing is you and your family are ok, homes can be repaired.
Millions of homes. But yes, glad you're alright Gilmore. I'm watching CBS, and they said that New Orleans is 80% is underwater, at the very least the cost of the damage is $25 billion, hundreds of people are dead, the New Orleans economy is completely ruined, and it will take countless months, maybe a couple years for all the water to be pumped out of the city. Looks like Mother Nature had too much sand in her vagina. |
That's really bloody terrible :( I heard it was the elderly and infirm that couldn't be evacuated...
I'm going to bed folks... |

When I was in Nawlins earlier this summer, I went on a swamp boat tour, and the guide was bragging about how, despite all of the flooding, and just excess water in general, his home has never gotten flooded. I wonder if he can still say that.. :-/ |

Oh, now I gotcha. I just remember hearing the phrase from Alladin. Such a kickarse movie.
So, these little blurbs that are included; Jom says they're reflective of your rep or something. Here's what I've gathered; 1,000 or more- Has a reputation beyond repute 0-1,000- Is a jewel in the rough/ Will be popular soon enough sub zero- Can only hope to improve  |

And think of all the disease that will arise from all the corpses floating around everywhere and all the dirty water. Hmm, where's the National Guard in all of this? OH WAIT THEYRE IN IRAQ WHOOPS Now don't get me wrong, I support our troops, but it's the National Guard, meaning you deal with national chaos before anything else. |

There was rep back in '02? :amaze:
|
Not exactly rep, but a similar system. It's part of the vBulletin code.
Liberi had a rather informative explanation somewhere in Site about it... I think it was in the old Ask the Mods thread. Others have tried to answer, but their answers are lacking since they weren't around. Other times, it's just the page loading incorrectly. |
There was rep back in '02? :amaze:
Certainly didn't have much meaning in '04, I barely had over 1000 posts and had almost reached 10,000 rep by the time it was reset. Er, I didn't just say that *runs* |
Oh, nostalgia of the rep parties is kicking in.
|

Er, I didn't just say that *runs*
Yeah, rep meant nothing around the time it was reset. getting stars was nothing, because people would rep you because you asked, for no reason at all, because you said something funny, you like a certain band, etc. So it good that it was reset. |
It still to this day means nothing. If you get 1000 rep you get stars whoopdedoo. Now what.
4. what?
It's a comic book series about the world's only elementary school for super-powered children. It has a lot of satire and dry humor. Not that any of you care, but my favorite character in the series so far is Tyler Marlocke. He's the son of two incredibly powerful superheroes, but hasn't manifested any powers. His parents however believe that the universe is merely waiting for the opportune moment to make his destiny clear, so they enrolled him in PS238 anyway. Tyler ends up having to find very creative ways to survive in a school full of children who can level city blocks. To help him out, the principal of the school contacted a Batman-esque hero called The Revenant to act as Tyler's mentor. On the surface, it may not seem like much, but it's actually a great series. All the characters are fully fleshed-out and have their own histories and ambitions that slowly become unraveled as the story progresses. |

/craves stars
Well, not it actually shows that you're a good user, instead of the fact that a bunch of people clicked a button below your name. But yeah, it doesn't have that much meaning now. |
I don't really care if I have stars or not. I get ample amounts of repsect from R&M, especially for only having 1500 posts.

Hahaha. I would cry if I lost some of the music I spent forever finding on here. :( I'd also like to know how much you had. Also, I was bored, so I changed my avatar. |
I have like 60 gigs of music, so if I lost it then I just might kill myself.

He only lost what he downloaded, not his CD's. So its a little different. |
