I have had Live Sh*t for about a year and a half and I have watched it maybe 3 times.

Kirks solo on one of the tapes were amazing after the Lars/James drum battle. That is the only cool thing I remember happening. I loved Metallica, and I loved the video, but worth 60 bucks is questionable...

Heh, yeah. I didn't imagine James being any good at drumming the first time I watched it. It went a lot better than i thought if would have.

My favorite Metallica video is probably "Year and a half in the life of Metallica" making the black album. I watched that tape so many times. I was so into Metallica when I first bought that, watching it just made me feel great because it was just them making the album. I watched that tape maybe 10 times before I finally got bored of it. 10 might not be a lot, but day after day after day of the same thing...

Anyway, yeah. I wish I was obsessed with another band as much as I was obsessed with Metallica a few years ago. I doubt that will ever happen though. They were my "first" band that I heavily got into.

yer i have that dvd and i dont blame you for getting sick of it because its 3hours and after awhile you cant be botherd sitting there
my favorite video is VH1 behind the music because that explains everything in metallica life
and im obsessed with metallica to because they were the band that saved me from R&B, techno, dance and all that ****, i now hate all that music and because of metallica im only into anything with a guitar, drums, bass ect. like classical, metal(thrash), rock, spanish, mexican ect.:thumb:
Better than Lars.
i dont get why everyone dislikes lars and his drumming
IMO hes pretty good

marc man 11-07-2005 02:19 AM

metallica whoooooo hooooooo!

blue3 11-07-2005 02:23 AM
metallica whoooooo hooooooo!
Um, yeah. Whoo.

Lars is okay, I guess.

Apocalyptic Raids 11-07-2005 02:24 AM

YEAH GO LARS

i love that danish person lol
but in the band its james, lars, kirk, cliff, are my favorite

PepsiMetal 11-07-2005 02:33 AM

Lars' drumming in that drum battle thingy with james was alot better. James' was ok, I dont see why everyone says he's great. Definetely not better than lars imo.

Jev 11-07-2005 02:38 AM

Lars' drumming is terrible. He used studio musicians a lot in the early days and a LOT of his beats black album-reload era are similar.

.:Thrasher:. 11-07-2005 03:11 AM

nice to see you like metallica but its not good to double post the same thing twice

timmySmi 11-07-2005 05:45 AM

I like Lars his drumming style fits Metallica perfectly plus he's easily the funniest member. At a meet and greet in reading my girlfriend met him and when he came up to her she just went nuts and grapped hold of him and started hunging him and he said God I've being waiting my whole life for this!.

yeah james isnt all that great. yes he helps lars out, but lars is better. i know lars isn't the greatest drummer ever, but he's got some good rhythyms and some thunderous groove that ties in with the band's image and style.

hey its been a while, i just got back from a whole weekend in houston its good to be back.

my friend of misery has a fairly irregular drumbeat as well, it changes quite a few times (or seems to anyway)

You think that was through mistake or actual planning?

i don't know, but it just seem...well, weird i guess. but that's still one of my favourite 'tallica songs, especially the little bass riff.

i like that song, the drum beat is quite cool any diffent.
i like the bass line to enter sandman, its easy to play and it sound good.

it's planned, and i adore it... quite lovely

Jev 11-07-2005 12:07 PM

fair enough, is there actually any piano in any Metallica song?
It's like plenty of metal bands have a piano ballad or something but Metallica don't. Weird.
