Steerpike 08-30-2005 05:32 PM

I haven't met any musicians. I've met Tom Savini, Quentin Tarantino, and Robert Rodriguez though.

Also, rate my purchases this week:

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-30-2005 05:46 PM

On the first day of school, we had this dumb form that we had to fill out in my Drama 2 class. One of the questions was "have you met anyone famous" and I actually had to put down "Adam Jones messaged me on myspace."

Nobody got the joke except for me and my friend, who I have turned into a Tool fan. Even this goth kid who wears TOOL shirts like every day didn't get it.

Aaron, did your area get hit by Katrina?
Yes it did, I have no clue on the current condition of my house, but we are assuming the worse considering all the footage of Biloxi and Gulfport.

Illmatic 08-30-2005 06:23 PM

I have family from New Orleans and around there, too :-\

They all made it out, but they went far away...from what I can tell, all the family members that were in there are all in Chicago or Dallas...that's a pretty fucking long drive, as you would imagine.

Kingofdudes 08-30-2005 06:26 PM

All the stress of this is making me a little ill :(

:-/ That must not be a good feeling, man. Well, hopefully your area didn't get hit at all.

Jom 08-30-2005 06:29 PM

Aaron: I don't blame you. Maybe your house will be alright :-\

///

So, who else got assigned a 20-page paper on his first day of class besides me?

Now, don't raise your hand all at once, now.

Lord Abortion 08-30-2005 06:30 PM

class?

oh man, I have to go back in a week...:(

Christ, and I thought it was bad that I had to do 30 chemistry problems on the first day of class.

Is the paper on anything interesting?

Jom 08-30-2005 06:41 PM

Of course not. Jon is going to assist me briefly on it, though, luckily.
