Well erm, because they're not plants! They don't photosynthesise :amaze: :D but they're definitely not plants, they can move quite independantly (i think) but i'm not jellly fish expert...

they dont have roots...or folliage...or pollen or nuts or seeds or anything like that. they don't need to photosynthesise to generate energy....apart from that, i have no idea what they are
